Vera didn't say anything else and Minerva could tell that she had her own reasons to do so. Regardless, she had decided to resign. She then apologized to Minerva a couple of times and excused herself. Minerva thought about it and felt that something was not right with her.

I know that I may not be the most friendly person, but I know that she might be going through something recently and it didn't seem like she messed up the orders on purpose."
