Vera was stunned.

"I won't let her take contraceptive pills." He spread out his hands to her again and said in an icy voice, "Don't makerepeat myself." Vera could only give in. Her lips trembled as she took out the contraceptive pills she had just bought from her pocket.

She had thought of everything. In order to prevent Maddox from searching her bag, she placed the pills into her pocket. However, she did not expect that she would hand over the medicine obediently just like that.
