Chapter 209 Inherit The Family Business After Graduation

“You’ve already lost. After all these years, we, the Smith family, have been more than forgiving enough

toward you, an outsider.”

Layla scrutinized Nancy from head to toe. “You remain unchanged as always. Our conversation ends

here. Martha, see the guest out.” Her tone was firm and resolute, her eyes. revealing an unmistakable

indifference and disdain.

Layla indeed had every reason to despise Nancy. If it weren’t for her, Jasper wouldn’t have suffered so

much and made so many wrong decisions while still in school.

Martha replied, “Yes, Old Mrs. Smith.”

“Ms. Mulligan, this way please.”

wouldn’t be where we are today.”

Kicked out from the Smith residence, the once arrogant Nancy now resembled a gambler who had lost

Eileen gave a faint smile as she looked at the business card being handed to her. She felt it would be

impolite to refuse, so she took it. She then grabbed her workbook and promptly left the classroom.

Previously, many in school knew that she was with Jasper, but knowledge of it was confined. within the

school. Now, because of the magazine, many others have approached the school. Once one person

knew, it was certain that others would follow in quick succession.

Recently, she had noticed it too. On the way to school, when Jasper was dropping her off, there were

people lurking around wearing masks, cameras in their hands. Eileen knew for sure that these people

were paparazzi.

She seldom cared about gossip and didn’t want to become a part of it either. She didn’t want anyone to

disturb her life, nor did she ever consider gaining any financial benefits from Jasper. She was quite

content and comfortable with her current situation.

Eileen went straight to the Olympiad Math Class’s laboratory building.

Right next to it was the dance studio, filled with rhythmic music. It seemed like someone was practicing

in there.

Eileen could feel the vibration of the windows even from next door.

A group of boys and girls strolled down the hallway. From the window, someone noticed her inside the

classroom. Charlie recognized her. “Isn’t that Eileen? Why is she alone here? She’s known for being a

top student, able to study peacefully no matter how noisy it gets.”

Ever since Calliope joined Elm in Class Six, the two had been inseparable. She was wearing a stylish

crop top, as she had joined a dance competition and formed a team with a few close friends. They

practiced in the adjacent room. The school uniform she wore was clearly too big for her, as it belonged

to Elm.

Just then, Benjamin happened to arrive as well. He greeted them along with Jason
