Chapter 212 Jasper Is The Best
Upon returning to campus, Eileen was greeted by her classmates, including Natalie, who was curious
about the events of the previous night. Eileen hadn’t expected her absence for just one night to cause
such a stir, with everyone knowing about it.
Not only Natalie, but also a group of unfamiliar people were insincerely showing concern for
her.
With the Olympiad Math approaching, Eileen didn’t want to overthink things. She simply wanted to
focus on doing her own thing well.
Serene Hospital.
Nancy was eating fruit and making repeated phone calls. She knew Jasper was like this, saying one
thing but meaning another. On the surface, he seemed indifferent to her, but she knew she still held a
place in his heart.
That girl, I can’t really remember her name, is just a tool to provoke me.
If not, he wouldn’t have stayed out so late last night. If the first time doesn’t count, what about the
second time?
Is it really so difficult for him to admit that he still has feelings for me?
If Richie agrees to marry me, then I haven’t lost that three-year bet.
After all, our past is deeply etched in our hearts. How could he possibly forget it so easily?
Jasper woke up, realizing it was already half past three in the afternoon.
Glancing at the time, he stepped outside and was immediately greeted by the enticing aroma
of food.
Fabian greeted, “Mr. Smith.”
Jasper looked at the dishes on the table.
Fabian said, “Ms. Eileen prepared all of these for you. She came by at noon, but seeing you were still
sound asleep, she didn’t disturb you. She cooked some dishes and then left Mr Smith, this is your

Jasper had already changed las old number, and he hadn’t saved Nancy He didn’t know how Nancy
managed to find out his new number and even deleted the messages that Eileen
had sent him.
Jasper’s eyes darkened a shade. A flicker of panic flashed quickly in his gaze but was swiftly
suppressed. “Did she say anything?”
Fabian shook his head. “No.”
Jasper felt an indescribable sense of dejection in his heart. Fabian, unaware of what his employer was
thinking, had already taken out a plate and cutlery and placed them on the table. “Mr. Smith, please
have your meal.”
Jasper sat down, his mind somewhat clouded by a headache. “Fabian, do you think Eileen is with me
because she likes me, or is it simply because she doesn’t want to lose the protection 1 offer? Shouldn’t
Eileen be angry by rights? Why does she seem to not care at all?”
This question was indeed a bit challenging for him. After all, he had never been in love. There was a
time during his university days when he had a brief relationship. But it seemed that the girl broke up
with him because she found him too stoic and boring.
After graduation, he joined Smith Corporation as an intern and worked his way up to the position of the
CEO’s assistant. He was on call round the clock, leaving him with little time for personal affairs, let
alone dating.
“I don’t quite understand this. I believe you can clarify this matter with Ms. Eileen. As they say, true
lovers have no secrets between them. You can find an appropriate time to tell Ms. Eileen everything to
prevent her from overthinking. Otherwise, the distance between you and her will only grow wider!”
What he said made sense. Jasper took a deep breath, pinching the bridge of his nose.
Perhaps it was all just his wild imagination.
At this moment, Nancy called again, and the phone vibrated.
Jasper glanced at the phone, showing no hesitation as he hung up and blacklisted the number. His
voice was frosty as he said, “From now on, there’s no need to bother about her
matters.”
“Yes, Mr. Smith.”
That’s right. Ms. Eileen is so much better than Nancy.
Nancy made countless calls, only to confirm once again that Jasper had already blocked her
number.
However, she still stubbornly believed that if anything happened to her, Jasper would still come to her
aid.

It seemed as if Nancy had thought of something. She called over a nurse and handed her a phone. “Do
as I say.”
The nurse looked at the perplexed woman. After dialing a number, it was hung up in less than half a
minute. “That… number doesn’t exist.”
“Impossible!” Nancy stomped her foot in frustration. She had dialed the number herself, ensuring there
were no mistakes before making the call. Yet, all she heard from the receiver. was one cold, impersonal
message after another. “The number you have dialed does not exist. Please check and dial again.”
“Damn it!” Nancy cursed. She quickly dialed another number stored in her phone, but it was a virtual
number, and all she got was a disconnected tone.
She forgot that he only reached out to her when he needed something.
Nancy was so angry that she felt like smashing her phone.
For some reason, all schools would dismiss before eight-thirty from now on. Even if there were evening
self-study sessions, they would start an hour earlier.
After the Olympiad Math Class, Eileen, Vera, and Natalie were walking together.
The other classes had just finished their sessions as well.
“That must be Eileen up ahead! I’m so envious. She gets to leave school early just like that.”

“Who could argue with that? Yesterday, Eileen disappeared somewhere, and Jasper spent the whole
night looking for her. The commotion was so big that it scared me even at the karaoke bar. I thought
they were there to arrest some suspect. Now, because of her, the entire school is dismissed an hour
early. If I had a boyfriend in Hulbury who had such influence and could. sleep by my side every day, I’d
be willing to live ten years less.”
“Right now, the entire Hulbury is under the control of the Smith family. If Eileen really marries into the
family in the future, I mean… she can do whatever she wants!”
A girl nearby tapped the two who were talking. “Stop talking. She’s looking this way.”
Vera glanced at Eileen, feeling an indescribable emotion welling up within her. She wasn’t sure if it was
jealousy. Eileen had always been inferior to her in everything. Her behavior was domineering, and she
did whatever she pleased. Apart from her attractive face, her character
was even more extreme.
But now, she has changed, becoming even better than before, more likable. The radiance she emits,
even without doing anything, can attract everyone’s attention.
However, in high school, she has such an outstanding man who loves her She’s naturally

superior to ordinary people, and now… her status is still unattainable for others.
Even Eric, who originally didn’t like her, finds himself wavering.
That night, the image of Eric kissing Eileen lingered in her mind, impossible to shake off.
Having been with Eric for so long, she could see that he simply didn’t like her. The things he forced
Eileen to do made her seem promiscuous, an unchaste person.
So much time has passed, and aside from that one drowning incident, Eric has never laid a hand on
her…
No wonder, after Eileen started being with that person from the Smith family, she stopped having
feelings for Eric.
Because no matter who you ask, Jasper is always considered the best…
