--An) I did not forget this novel! I have been busy the past few days doing privileged for another novel. Kana will still be updated regularly!--
Kana and the girls were brought to a floating island that had tall white buildings with a large archway with two sidewalks on each side, and down the middle was a flowing blue waterfall. It glowed slightly and fell into the depths of the cloud sea below. Kana looked around at everything and felt this place was very good. It was quiet, and there did not seem to be any malicious intent toward her or her family.
Of course, this will probably change as the days go on, but for now, things were quiet. She did kind of wish she could have lived in her new home. But sadly, the rules were the rules, and she would need to stay at the angel academy for a while.
"You all will be split into groups and put into rooms with vacancies." Ivy looked at Kana with an apologetic smile as she said: "Miss Kana, your family will need to be split up. Please understand this is academy rules."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"It's fine." Kana nodded. Seeing this, Instructor Ivy let out a sigh of relief before a cold chill ran down her spine when she heard Kana's next words. "But just know the person who dares bully my friends and family will die a horrible death."
"Y-yes… I will be sure to tell the people they room with not to do anything." Instructor Ivy couldn't help but feel pity for anyone who does not heed her warning! She knew more than anyone just how scary this woman could be!
"I thank you then." Kana smiled as she continued to look around.
In one of the dorms sitting by a window, a young woman with golden hair looked through the glass at the newcomers who were making their way in. "Is everything ready?"
"Young Miss, everything is ready. But….. I do suggest not going through with this. While you did not attend, I heard there were quite a few powerful people who entered the academy this time around. If you make a misstep, we may suffer for it." A woman in maid clothing replied. She had a worried expression on her face.
"In all the years that I have been in the academy, how many powerful newbies have you seen falling under my feet? If I dare do it, then that means I have the strength to do so." The golden haired woman replied.
"Young Miss… This time…." The maid wanted to say more, but when her young miss glared at her, she quickly shut up.
The golden haired girl looked at the people below until her eyes fell on one little girl who seemed to be the perfect target. She looked like the quiet type that was easily bullied. "Heh… I will start with her."
Mei Ling suddenly raised her eyes slightly when she felt someone looking at her. She could tell they were in the building facing her, but she could not pinpoint the room without extending her divine sense. But she decided there was no reason to worry. If this person has ill will, they will learn that she was not easily bullied!
But Mei Ling wondered what this person would try to do. "Mei, you need to be careful." Bi ling tugged on Mei Ling's shirt.
"Mmm… You too. Do not get too lonely at night." Mei Ling teased, causing Bi Ling to purse her lips. Bi Ling did indeed feel the most comfortable when sleeping next to Mei Ling. This was probably because they used to be one and the same. But now, they were two separate entities.
Kana was listening to their conversation when an idea came to mind. She moved to walk next to Instructor Ivy and asked: "I know you said that family members can not be roomed together but what about if they share the same bed?"
"Hmmm?" Instructor Ivy did not understand.
Kana whispered in a low voice to explain things. "My two youngest here are one and the same but separate. They used to share the same body until I split them up. So I hope you can put them in the same room. They will not take up extra space."
"I see…. I will need to test to make sure what you say is true, but if it is, then it does not go against the rules." Instructor Ivy knew Kana's concern. She would do a test as a formality, but no matter the results, she would just change them to match. This much she could do since Kana had been very helpful during the test and even saved her life.
Kana nodded with a smile as she said: "Thank you. I will feel more at ease if they are together."
They reached the main building of the dormitory which, Instructor Ivy did not hesitate to do the soul test, and it was just as Kana said. Their souls matched completely. It was just split. Seeing this ,Instructor Ivy wondered just how powerful one had to be to split souls and give them bodies. "Okay, due to certain reasons, Mei Ling and Bi Ling will be in the same room but will need to share a bed."
"Bi Ling and Mei Ling looked at each other and smiled as they clapped hands together. They could still be together even at the academy! The two girls both looked at their Mama and mouthed a word for thanks which Kana only smiled back. She was glad those two could stay together and protect one another. But she felt it was strange she had heard the academy everyone got their own rooms. Thinking of this, Kana tapped Instructor Ivy on the shoulder once more and asked: "I thought everyone got single rooms."
"It's due to the new regulation and the amount of influx of new students as of late. We are running out of space. As you know, there are only so many islands, and most of them are for academics within the academy. The dorms are quickly filling up to the point we had to split dorm rooms into twos, threes, and now fours."
