"I swear…. If this does not end this game, I will just have to wait until my next reincarnation." Kana, who was standing on the wall of a large fort. One she actually owned after conquering so many kingdoms and rising up from a mere commoner to become the queen everyone loved. The game World of Belda two happened to be a kingdom builder game. She had to fight many wars and kill many kings. The task was not an easy one because she also had to search ancient ruins for treasure to bolster her army and herself at the same time. In the end, she had one hundred men and women who were completely equipped with legendary armor that she had found from her raids and killing bosses.
But this seemed to be the end of the game because it was at the point where she had to defend her own lands. Ten kingdoms had formed an alliance to take Kana out, and now she was trying to fend them all off.
She ordered her men to ready their bows and the mages to ready their spells. With how powerful her soldiers were, she just needed one good volley to make the enemy retreat. At least, she hoped. The game never played things out like she expected them to. There were many times when she really wondered what the game was thinking. When she was a lower level, she could have lost many of the campaigns, but the game would do something stupid, giving her the upper hand.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThere were also times when she was the last person standing, but the enemy retreated. She did not understand why the game would work in such a way. She was starting to think whoever created this game never played it themselves, resulting in a lot of bugs.
But even if there were many weird situations, she was glad some of those bugs were there, or she would have had a much harder time. Kana raised the staff in her hand with the golden crown on her head and a rad flowing cape behind her as she shouted out: "Attack!"
Arrows set ablaze with fire and magic arched through the air as they raced towards the incoming armies. The enemy tried to put up magic barriers, but the arrows shattered them in an instant allowing the magic spells to rain down from above. Kana watched coldly from the top of the wall waiting for any slight change to happen on the battlefield. The only thing she seemed to find good about this game was it helped a lot in her commanding and perception to pick up any anomalies around her. Unlike before, she was always looking for a change in the battlefield. Any exploit she could use to win. Or looking for any changes in the enemy's advances. It could be said to be one of the best war simulations ever created. If not for the few bugs, it would be perfect.
The battle slowly began to flow in her favor as the mages on the enemy side seemed to have trouble keeping barriers up. Without the barriers, they could not protect their ground troops. If they get stuck in a single spot, they can not advance and would be just letting their men die in vain.
The battle was only ten minutes in when Kana finally saw something odd. There was a strange formation that was hiding their activities from view. "Archer! Right side, far back!"
The archers swiftly changed targets towards the area Kana had said and began releasing arrows. The group she had spotted did not seem worried about incoming deaths. Kana watched the arrows as they were about to hit, only for a loud explosion to echo through the area. Kana watched in shock as a giant white three headed black dragon suddenly appeared. One breathed fire, one breathed poison, while the last breathed water.
"I guess this was going to be hard no matter what I did. My guess is I need to defeat the dragon to win this war." Kana frowned as she rose off her feet using the ingame spell fly, one of the few rare spells she found. She gave instructions to her second in command before flying out over the battlefield. Her target was the massive black dragon that did not seem to know who was friend or foe because it was currently killing the enemy soldiers.
Kana wondered what idiot came up with a plan to summon a dragon they could not control. But as she thought about it. If she was summoned by someone, she would probably kick them dead as well. To summon a monster out of your control was just plain dumb and a death wish. As the summoner, it would be easy for the summon to turn around and eat them.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmKana floated over the black dragon, who seemed to see her as the biggest threat. It lifted its three heads and, without so much as a warning, opened its mouth and three different elemental breath attacks at Kana.
Kana ignored the breath attacks because they were completely nullified. She charged right through them with her sword in hand and struck down with her sword causing it to sink into the first dragon's neck, then the next, and finally the third one. Seconds later, Kana saw a popup hover in front of her. "Congratulations! You have successfully beaten World Of Belda Two. Please wait for your reward."
Seeing the notification Kana was happy that she had finally beaten the game and could not escape from this place. The scenery around her changes, and Kana once again found herself in a large room. Hovering over her was the stupid robot again. Before she could complain or many a scene about being sucked into the game against her will, a tray of light shot into her head, filling it with strange bright runes.
At this time, a notification popped up in front of Kana. This time, it was not the game notification but her actual system notification.
