Reincarnated With The Undefeated System
Chapter 204 Improving In One Aspect."I'm trying to increase your pace, and you're there neighing?". Aiden muttered this time.
He had learned to ride a horse to an extent, but he knew how hard it was to learn those things. They weren't extremely hard though, but they weren't easy either.
So he knew increasing the horse's pace wouldn't be easy if he even gets to accomplish it today. And again, his dad wasn't here to give him some instructions here and there.
But he was determined not to fall off the horse. With the rope in his hands, he kept trying to increase the horse's pace. Now, Lydia saw when Aiden walked out of the house after returning from school, and she didn't know where he went to.
She didn't know if he was on the compound or he went somewhere else. She wanted to confirm, so she walked to one of the windows in the living room and glanced out of it, and she sighted Aiden on top of a horse.
One of the horses on the compound, and according to what she was seeing, seems like he was trying to accomplish something with the horse. Well, she had already confirmed he was on the compound, so she just took her gaze off the window.
Aiden was still trying to increase the horse's pace, but it wasn't working out till now...he was even getting tired. He was so tired that he began speaking to the horse once again,
"Are you doing this on purpose or something? Maybe you don't want me to learn this, so even if I'm doing it right, you just don't want to increase your pace. Or is it that I'm truly not doing it right?
Would I have to build a personal relationship with you before I'd be able to increase your pace?".
The horse didn't say anything, yes, it wasn't supposed to say anything, it didn't even neigh. It was just glancing front with Aiden on top of it, it didn't even understand what Aiden just said.
Remember when Aiden and Ethan did some little training in Ethan's animal field. That day that Aiden learned a lot about horse riding. They used a certain horse for the training...this wasn't the horse.
..The horse Aiden was sitting on right now wasn't the horse.
Ethan rode the one they used for the training to his animal field today. So Aiden was like...
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt'Maybe if it was that same horse, then I would have been able to increase its pace by now since it was the one I used for my training days ago. By using it to train, haven't I been able to build a relationship with it to an extent?'.
..Wrong, his thinking was completely wrong.
It would have been the same case even if it was the horse he used for his training days ago he was sitting on top of right now. To increase its pace would still be hard...there'd be nothing different.
As we all know, it hadn't been too long since he engaged in that training with his dad, it was just some days ago. And as said, after that day, he hadn't visited his dad's animal field again.
..But a time would come when he'd visit it again, he enjoyed the last visit.
The aim now was to increase the horse's pace, and he doesn't seem to be achieving it. He had put the horse to a halt by now, and he suddenly put it in motion once again.
The horse was moving forward when he suddenly changed its direction to the right-hand side. The horse neighed and raised its two front legs a little while changing direction.
That almost caused Aiden to fall off the horse, but he just held himself. The horse changed direction and began moving forward once again. Then Aiden caused it to move to the left-hand side this time.
The horse did the same thing while changing direction, but Aiden didn't almost fall off it, he was sitting comfortably on it as it was changing direction.
After the horse had turned to the left-hand side and was moving forward, Aiden muttered to himself...
"I'm still able to change a horse's direction while it's in motion, this wasn't that difficult for me to learn, but it wasn't easy either. So why is increasing a horse's pace so hard?".
..He questioned himself and got no answer to the question.
Well, minutes had passed now, and Aiden had finally been able to increase the horse's pace after continuous attempts. But...the horse wasn't moving with that much speed, it wasn't running with full force.
It wasn't jogging anymore either, it was running, but it wasn't running at full speed. So though Aiden had been able to increase the horse's pace, he hadn't fully learned it...ugh.
..But he was happy, he was able to increase the horse's pace though it didn't run at full speed.
Before you know it, he would be able to cause a horse to run at full speed...baby steps. He might even be able to learn it today though it was evening.
The horse wasn't moving currently as he's put it to a halt. He was about to cause it to run with that amount of speed once again, so he put the horse in motion. The horse began moving, then he increased its pace.
..And you know what? It was running with that amount of speed again, not too fast and not slow either.
"Wow! So I've finally improved in this aspect". Aiden uttered to himself.
He was elated, he knew what it took him to learn this, and he was able to learn it without his dad. Yeah, his dad taught him how to do it that day at his animal field, but he didn't learn to do it that day though he learned some other things.
Now, he's been able to do it without his dad beside him, it felt nice. Ethan would be glad to hear this...
Aiden kept training, he tried to increase the horse's pace some more, but it wasn't just working out...seems like he'd be stuck there for a while. Yes, he's been able to increase the horse's pace, but it wasn't running at full speed as we all know.
Now, he wanted to cause it to move at full speed, but it wasn't just working out.
'Well, something has been learned today, I improved in one aspect'. Aiden thought to himself.
He moved from that aspect to others, it wasn't about increasing the horse's pace anymore, he tried out other things. Things he learned in his dad's animal field, he practiced them.
The ones he thought he had forgotten, he practiced them. He learned some new things. There were times when he almost fell off the horse but didn't...he held himself.
He went back to increasing the horse's pace, but he couldn't go past that speed, he'd truly be stuck there for a while. He started the training in the evening, and now, the sky was getting darker, it was getting close to complete nighttime.
..Well, he had practiced to an extent, it was about time to end it.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHe began riding the horse straight to where he took it from, and after the horse reached that place, he came down from it. After coming down from it, he tied it.
Then he patted the horse on the head a little and said, "Thanks for letting me make use of you, I was able to learn some things with you...thanks for that".
..Talking to a horse again.
After making that utterance, he began walking toward the house. He hadn't even reached the house when the gate opened and his mum stepped foot into the compound.
He glanced back immediately to sight his mum, and his mum hadn't even reached him when a smile appeared on her face...she was glad to see her son.
"Aiden". She called out his name as she was walking toward him.
"Mum". Aiden uttered as well as he turned around and began walking toward his mum.
Emma was looking beautiful in the orange robe she was wearing, it fitted her well. She was carrying a certain bag in her hand with some things in it. And the moment Aiden reached her, he collected the bag from her.
He was just assisting her to carry it. And Aiden wasn't expecting the utterance that flowed out of Emma's mouth as they were walking toward the house...
"So, what have you been doing?".
..Like she knew he practiced with one of the horses, but she didn't.
She just assumed he was busy with one activity or the other since he was on the compound, that's why she asked that question.
"I practiced horse riding with one of the horses". Aiden responded, he didn't lie at all.
"Seriously?". Emma inquired.
"Yes, Mum".
"That's nice, keep practicing until you become perfect". Emma uttered once again with her gaze focused on Aiden.
The both of them kept strolling until they stepped foot into the house...
