"I was so scared," Tim said as they walked down the stairs to return to their hotel.
"Serious, I didn't even speak once in front of him," Jasmine said.
"You guys need to learn to speak a little more," Ning said. "Why would you be scared of anybody?"
Jasmine looked back at Ning. "But that was not anybody. That was a Cardinal. If this were a regular kingdom, that person would be akin to a prince. Do you know how nerve-racking that is?"
"Huh… I suppose that is true," Ning said. "Still, don't take it lying down. Learn to stand up for yourself."
"That's something only you could say," Jasmine said, sighing a little.
Galamor and Tanaya followed them half a step behind, letting the three of them continue walking down ahead of them.
"Are you alright, my lady?" Galamor asked Tanaya. "I understand that being close to the Cardinal of Life can be… scary."
"It was indeed a little scary," Tanaya said. "Is he always that serious, if you don't mind me asking?"
"Yes," Galamor said with a simple smile. "But that is for his benefit. He gets to do his work better that way."
"Cardinal of Life, he cares about the people I suppose," Tanaya said. "In his heart, he must love everyone."

Walking down the flight of stairs was much faster than climbing, so the group arrived back at Level 2 in just an hour and a half. After returning, Ning turned toward the Galamor and Tanaya. "I expect both of you to be here later tonight," he said.
"I will," Tanaya said.
"9 o'clock. I'll be here," Galamor said and walked away.
Ning and the others returned to their room, and Ning instructed them to go to sleep as they would be busy later tonight.
Tim was simply too tired from having to walk up and down for so long, so the moment he jumped on the bed, he fell asleep.
He woke up to Ning calling his name with a light shake. It was hard to even tell where he was at first but as he came out of sleep, he realized what he was to do soon.
"What time is it?" he asked.
"Close to 9. Go get ready, we'll be leaving in a few minutes," Ning said.
As Tim prepared, Jasmine walked into the room and sat on one of the beds. "Do you know where this murderer is?" she asked.
"In the Canary Hotel, over on Graytree Road," Ning explained. "He's been staying there for a while now, so it should be easy."
"Let's hope so," the girl said. Tim got ready soon enough and they met up with Galamor and Tanaya outside before making their way to Graytree Road.
The place was named as such because of a massive tree that used to be there a long time ago, that apparently had a fully gray trunk as though it was perpetually covered in ashes.
Now, the tree was no more, and in its stead was a park created and dedicated to it.
Ning and the group arrived at an all-night cafe close to the Canary Hotel and stopped.
"Alright, do we just go in now?" Galamor asked. "What do we do?"
"I… do nothing," Ning said. "You find the serial killer."
Ning sat on one of the tables and leaned against his hands. "Go find him and capture him. Between you four, you should be able to do something about him."
"Sir Ning! You can't do this. How are we supposed to catch a serial killer? What if he kills us?" Tim asked.
Ning gave a weird look. "You will be going with one of the best Paladins and a very well-respected police officer, who I assume has had a lot of training. You will be fine," he said.
"Besides, you need to start learning how to properly use that treasure of yours," Ning said, pointing to the horn on his hips.
Tim looked down at the horn and gave a solemn look. He thought for a moment and nodded. "Alright, I'll do it."
"Go, and find him. I'll be there if you need any help," he said.
Tim walked away with Jasmine following behind them.

"No," Ning answered. "Now go before he runs away or something."
Tanaya hurried away at those words.
Tim blew his horn as softly as he could and searched for what could help him. In his immediate vicinity, all he could find were cats, rats, dogs, some birds, and other small beasts.
Tim paused for a moment and chose a dog. He believed the dog would be the best help for him here. When the dog came, he could finally see that it was a medium-sized dog with short fur and a dark snout. It growled per Tim's orders, showing a yellow fang to the group.
"You can control the dog?" Tanaya asked.
"That's what my treasure is for," Tim said. "Do you guys have treasures I should be aware of?"
"I don't have any," Tanaya answered.
"I would have brought our family's belt," Galamor said. "But it's not a battle-oriented treasure. The fact that one of us even has any is a surprise on its own."
"What if we had two?" Jasmine asked and suddenly went invisible.
"What?" Galamor looked around to search for Jasmine, but he couldn't see her anywhere. He reached out to see if she was still there when his hand was swatted away.
"I can still be touched. Put those hands away," she said.
"Oh, sorry," he said. "You never mentioned you had a divine treasure during any of our dates."
"I wasn't intending to give away too much information," Jasmine said. "Anyway, it would be too weird if we all went in as invisible, but I can make the dog and one other person invisible."
"Who wants to go in unseen?"
