Deirdre felt warm and fuzzy in her heart upon hearing how he cared about her. She remembered something and
said, “You don’t want the company anymore?”
“I can work remotely for the company, but I’ll take you to travel around the world first. You’ve been enduring
hardships for so many years, so it’s time for you to be happy.”

The wish in the depths of her heart was not to be the wife of a wealthy man from an influential family nor live a
