Chapter 1573: Settling Accounts? Selena was prepared for this, so she didn't show any surprise at Osvaldo's words. She sat in his arms, watching his Adam's apple bob up and down as he spoke, and couldn't resist biting him lightly. She heard him let out a muffled groan.

Feeling a bit guilty, Selena turned her eyes away from him and sat still obediently. Her voice sounded serious as she said, "| need to see Dante about something. Is it convenient now?" She knew that Dante had been locked up by Osvaldo for treatment of some sort. But Selena had no idea what was really going on.

Osvaldo looked at Selena with an amused expression on his face. His wife wasn't the type to do anything out of kindness or generosity of spirit when it came to Sacred Pearl - she knew that much.

If Selena suddenly wanted to see Dante now... there must be another reason behind it all.

Osvaldo looked into her eyes and chuckled lowly,"Selena, you don't want to help him anymore?" Even though Dante was Osvaldo's brother, when it came down to choosing between them both... well let's just say that Osvaldo would always side with his wife first.

Feeling nervous all of a sudden, Selena hugged Osvaldo tightly around the neck and whispered softly in his ear,"My teachers are coming over to see me..." Even though Bruno would definitely support her unconditionally, Selena knew there were only three graduates from Lab 717 altogether...

Luke sounded surprised through the phone. "Really? Mr. Anderson, didn't you go in with Mrs. Anderson?" Osvaldo was with Selena, so how could Dante disrespect her? According to Osvaldo, he went with Selena but wasn't by her side? There was only one possibility: she left him behind.

"..." Luke had no words.

But Osvaldo wasn't angry; in fact, he laughed before hanging up the phone.

If Selena wanted revenge, she would have already taken it by now. The reason why Osvaldo didn't follow was simply because he didn't want Dante to resent his older brother.
