himself alone in the room. As the door clicked shut, Angelo blurted, "Hey! Where are you taking my sister?" But
his head was pounding, so he just wandered around, curiously taking in his surroundings like a kid in a candy
store. His expressions and actions seemed genuine, not a bit put on. The butler couldn't resist saying, "Sir..."
"Keep it down!" Caelum commanded, thumping his cane against the floor with authority. Until he was absolutely
sure that Kiran's old personality was gone for good, Angelo wasn't going anywhere.
"Yes, sir." The butler obliged, guiding Caelum out of the room. Meanwhile, in a hidden corner that the cameras
couldn't catch, Kiran's lips curled up into a sly smile.
Later that afternoon, Sophie was cozied up in Colby's arms. Colby usually got by on just four or five hours of
sleep a night, waking up naturally if he slept any longer. Feeling Sophie snuggle closer, he gently asked, "Want to

"I'm kinda hungry." They were cuddled up close, which wasn't unusual in itself, but Sophie had been recovering
from injuries for the past month, so they hadn't shared a bed much.
Colby had been extra cautious not to hurt Sophie, opting to sleep on the couch while keeping an eye on her.
Now, with Sophie being all cute in his arms, Colby felt a lump in his throat.
"Hmm? What's up? You're quiet," Sophie noticed, still half-asleep. She felt something warm beneath her, and

She thought about pulling away, but Colby tightened his grip around her waist, his voice low and gravelly,
"Funny, I'm feeling a bit hungry too." His hand was as warm as a hot iron, and there was a hint of longing in his
eyes.

to touch her much, worried about her healing wounds. Right then, he was silently asking for her permission with
his gaze. Sophie could say anything, the ringtone of a phone broke the
