A frown emerged on Aurora and Elisa's faces as soon as they heard the rhino's words.

They glanced at one another, and as though they reached the same conclusion, the both of them took a few steps away from the rhino.

Upon their movement, the rhino casually took a step forward. There was a smirk on its face and after seizing both ladies for a brief moment, it spoke.

"I'm going to take it that you want the latter, then."

Staring at Aurora and Elisa, there was lust written all over the rhino's face.

"There's really nowhere for you to run, cupcakes. Whether you like it or not, you're either going to be underneath me or inside him." The rhino said and then licked its lips.

Not for a second did Aurora and Elisa doubt any of the words was being said by the rhino, as the expression on its face and demeanor asserted that it wasn't joking.

This rhino indeed wanted to engage with both of them.

Elisa assumed a battle stance without any delay, she glared at the rhino with killing intent evident in her eyes.

Just like the rhino, Elisa made her intention well known to the rhino… And if he were to move an inch closer to them, she was going to launch at him immediately.

And as if the rhino was able to read Elisa's mind, it smirked. "Interesting human! But, if there's one thing I enjoy the most, then it's a stubborn woman."

"Listening to the screams and powerless struggle you peasant makes is exactly what I crave the most about you all."

"This way, the pleasure becomes more satisfactory." The Rhino stated.

There was a disgusted look on both the faces of Aurora and Elisa as they heard the rhino. Judging from how it had uttered those words, they could tell that it harmed humans repeatedly in the past.

A monster who didn't only feast on the bodies of humans and metahumans, but also one who acted willfully with their bodies… Irrespective of Gender!

And while Elisa and Aurora didn't consider themselves to be heroes, they still felt removing this vile beast from the world was the decent thing to do.

Aurora brought forth her weapon and turned towards Elisa who tightened her grip on the dagger in her hand, the both of them soon nodded their head.

"Alright then, give it your best shot." The rhino suddenly spoke.

It stood still without the intention of moving from where it was, and as the two ladies charged at him, the rhino seemed to be excited.

Aurora had been holding on to a silver blade, but as soon as she was a few meters away from the rhino, the blade suddenly changed from.

It went from the silver blade into a bazooka, and once the trigger was pulled, the first wave of attack was sent forward.

Boom!

The destruction set by that attack was simply unbelievable, to the extent that it destroyed the majority of the buildings in the surrounding, while the meta-beasts around went into hiding.

The full figure of the rhino was yet to be seen, as the bazooka strike caused the surroundings to be in a disoriented state.

However, despite the wreckage caused by the bazooka, Elisa didn't relax for a bit, and even after the sound of an explosion, she tightened her grip on the dagger and then dashed forward.

"Y-You…" Aurora stuttered upon seeing Elisa rush forward.

Following the sound of dagger strikes, Aurora gritted her teeth. She was about to take a step forward when a figure suddenly emerged from the turmoil ahead.

Staring at Elisa, who was holding on to the head of the rhino, Aurora heaved a deep breath. She stared at her best friend and was lost for all words to say.

As for Elisa, there was a contented look on her face as she took a glance at the rhino's head. Clearly, it felt satisfying to put an end to a beast this vile.

Elisa's lips slowly curl into a smile, however, as she saw the unusual look on Aurora's face, the smile vanished instantly.

It was to be replaced with a light frown, and as she threw the rhino head away, Elisa moved towards Aurora.

"You were about to say something before the rhino came. What is it? What happened between you and Raphael in Dale city." Elisa spoke with her eyes glued to Aurora.

Before this question, Aurora was unable to keep eye contact with Elisa, and briefly, after those words were spoken, she lowered her head.

"What is it, Aurora?" Elisa asked with concern evident in her voice. "How bad can it be that you're not able to tell me."

Aurora gulped as heard Elisa. Her head was still lowered, but as Elisa slowly brought her head up, she was forced to make contact with Elisa's eyes.

"I…" Aurora stammered.

Aurora could swear that she wanted nothing more than for the truth to be out, but knowing what damage it would cause, she felt she would be ruining everything.

But, something of this magnitude shouldn't be put under the rug.

Slowly mustering up the courage, Aurora wiped the tears on her face and was about to speak when Elisa's voice rang out.

"Could it be that the both of you slept together while in Dale city," Elisa said flatly.

The instant those words were said, Aurora skipped a heartbeat. She stared at Elisa with her eyes widened and terror was written all over her face.

Even though it was barely up to five seconds since Elisa spoke, this was the tensest period for Aurora in her entire life.

Aurora's hands were shaking, and so was her body. Her mouth was slightly open, and while she wanted to speak, no words left her mouth.

"Aurora!"

Followed by Elisa's loud voice, she chuckled.

"I'm just joking with you. You don't have to be this horrified by the idea." Elisa said and then shook her head.

"It's fine if you don't want to tell me what happened in Dale city now, I can always wait to hear from you whenever you're ready, of course," Elisa added.

With that said, and Elisa walked past Aurora.

Aurora clenched her hand into a tight fist, she knew telling what happened in Dale City was going to be difficult to say, but she wasn't expecting it to be this difficult.
