“That’s impossible!”
Stefan’s eyes turned scarlet. He said firmly, “Do you think you can sew discord between us? Renee isn’t that kind of
cruel and wicked woman. It’s very easy if she wants me dead. She didn’t have to spend so much effort, let alone
jump into the water prison to save me!”
“It’s normal, even if you don’t believe me. After all, you guys were once a married couple, and you’ve had children
together. Who will believe that their significant other wants to kill them?”
Chase shook his head and gave Stefan a fatal blow. “But if she cares for you, why would she leave at such an
important moment without any concerns about you? When you’re blind, and at your most helpless, she leaves you
all alone in your enemy’s base, which is full of danger. She didn’t even inquire anything about you.”
