Yulissa behaved rudely. She carried herself as if she were the lady of the house.
After she was done with the clothes, she turned to Winnie, who was crying on the bed, and
said, “The man that you call Handsome; his name is Xavier, and he is my boyfriend.
Although you’re rather silly, you’re still a grown woman. You’d better stay away from him
from now on. He also asked me to tell you that he hates silly fools like you. He will need
peace and quiet to rest and recuperate for a while. He wants you to stay out of his sight if
there’s nothing important that you need to speak to him about. Do you understand?”
Yulissa thought Winnie was crying on the bed.
However, Winnie was actually listening to the voice message sent by Nathaniel.
She was very comfortable lying on the bed with her earphones on.
She was aware that Yulissa was speaking to her. However, she pretended not to hear her.
She only got up from the bed after she was done listening to the long series of voice
messages sent by Nathaniel.
Then, standing directly in front of Yulissa, she slowly took off her earphones. “What were
you saying, you horrible woman? Winnie was crying too hard earlier; Winnie didn’t hear a
single word you said.”
Yulissa drew in a deep breath and repeated impatiently, “I said—”
However, before she could finish, Winnie pressed her earphones into her ears again.
Yulissa was stunned. Is she trying to provoke me? Is she really a dumbass?
Her silly, clueless expression was answer enough. “Hmph! Winnie is watching Peppa Pig.
Go away, you horrible woman!”
Yulissa calmed down. “It doesn’t matter. Xavier won’t see you ever again.”
After that, she grabbed the clothes and left.
Winnie rolled her eyes at Yulissa’s retreating back. As if I want to see Xavier! Idiot!
After chatting with Nathaniel for a while longer, Winnie realized that using her phone was
not enough.
She went into the playroom and got on the computer.

On her way there, she passed by Xavier’s study. The door was ajar. From within, she could
hear the voices of Yulissa and an unknown man in conversation.
Yulissa seemed to be talking to the man on speakerphone while searching for something in
Xavier’s study.
Winnie did not really want to bother herself with whatever Yulissa was doing. However, her
curiosity got the best of her. She wanted to know what was actually going on.
Yulissa snuck into Xavier’s study! Is she a spy?
Winnie stood by the door and eavesdropped.
Inside the room, Yulissa ended the call very soon after. It seemed that she had not
managed to locate whatever it was the man wanted her to look for.
Winnie was surprised to realize that the man’s voice sounded vaguely familiar to her.
It sounds like Xavier’s cousin, Zyon. Wow! Isn’t this an interesting turn of events? Xavier’s
beloved ex-girlfriend cheated on him with Zyon. Xavier even scolded me because of that
cheating woman. There’s no point for me to eavesdrop on her now. I must find a way to
expose her secret! Then Xavier will end her!
Winnie thought about her options. She decided to lie low first and plan her next move
later.
However, just as she was about to walk away, Xavier appeared out of nowhere.
He caught sight of Winnie lingering at the door of his study and asked in a nasty voice,
“Why are you sneaking around my study?”
He looked as if he was ready to kill her.
However, since Winnie was pretending to be a simpleton, she could only swallow her
anger and put on her fool’s act.
“Handsome, Winnie is not being sneaky.” Winnie deliberately ran over to Xavier to grab his
hand.
My fool’s act is so believable! Don’t you want to be with that woman? Winnie just wanted
to touch him and hold him and make him uncomfortable. She also wanted to provoke
Yulissa’s anger.
“Winnie was just following the horrible woman. She was the one who went in first! You can
go in there and see for yourself if you don’t believe Winnie!”
Dumbo smells so amazing! Her scent is different from the other women. I really want to
just keep holding her!
However, Xavier finally shook himself free and said cruelly, “Dumbo, stay away from me.”
Winnie carried on with her fool’s act. “Winnie is not Dumbo, Handsome! Winnie is not
Dumbo!”
“I told you to stay away from me.”
Winnie ignored his command and followed him into his study.
Yulissa had heard them coming in earlier and had already cooked up an alibi.
“Xavier, I’m so sorry that I came into your study without asking first. I just remembered
that you had a photo of us on your desk. I just wanted to see if it is still here…”
Xavier looked at Yulissa. It seemed that he believed her excuse. “It’s not here anymore; I
burned it.”
Yulissa’s mouth fell open. She looked a little embarrassed. “Well, it doesn’t matter. We can
take more photos together.”
Winnie was speechless. Is love really so blind? Does he really believe that she came in
here just for a photo?
“Handsome, the horrible woman is lying! See here, and here! It’s all messy. She’s not
looking for a photo. Winnie heard her on the phone with a man just now!”
I’ve revealed everything! If this idiot of a man is still oblivious, then he deserves what’s
coming!
“That’s enough, Winnie. I don’t want to listen to your silly talk. Get out of here!”
“Handsome! Winnie is not lying!” Winnie turned and grabbed Xavier’s arm, yanking it
insistently.
Xavier could not take it anymore.
Every single one of her touches went straight to his heart. He could not stand to be near
her any longer.

His push was forceful, and Winnie was not standing firmly. She fell to the floor with a loud
thud.
Yulissa wanted to hurt her further. While pretending to help her up, she stepped down hard
on Winnie’s hand secretly and away from Xavier’s eyes.
Winnie’s patience was hanging by a thin thread. The pair of them were taking turns
bullying her.
Suddenly, she caught sight of a bottle of red wine on the desk. It was open but still very
full.
Without saying a word, she climbed onto the desk.
She picked up the bottle of red wine and poured it over Xavier’s head. “Stupid Handsome,
stupid! I think you’re blind. Why don’t you use this to wash your eyes?”
After she emptied the bottle, she slammed the bottle down hard on Xavier’s neck, taking
out all her anger on him.
At that moment, her hands went numb, and the empty bottle dropped to the floor as her
grip suddenly loosened.
However, Xavier still had not moved or retaliated in any way.
Next, it was Yulissa’s turn. With the bottle now on the floor and out of her reach, Winnie
could only use her own hands.
She went up to her and slapped her twice, hard.
“I didn’t drop your bracelet, you evil woman. Go to hell!”
Yulissa’s cheeks were tingling from the pain, and Xavier was not feeling any better.
“Xavier,” Yulissa said through her tears. “How dare this dumbass hit us? Are you letting
her get away with this? She doesn’t take you seriously at all!”
Xavier stared at Winnie’s retreating figure. The only thought in his head was whether
Winnie had hurt herself when she attacked them.
Dumbo’s hand seemed to be shaking earlier after she smashed the wine bottle on me. She
must be very angry…
Without even glancing at Yulissa, he said, “Yulissa, don’t let me hear you calling her a
dumbass anymore.”
