Saying so, he turned his attention back to his spatial rings.
Ignoring the dumbfounded stares of the receptionists, he patiently stood in front of the counter.
As they continued watching him with furrowed eyebrows, he began counting the corpses inside.
Gaby had just handed him over the spatial rings and he had not kept track of the number of kills today.
Neither was he 100% certain of their cultivation ranks.
Furthermore, he took a quick glance at the equipment of the Nasga soldiers.
After he was satisfied, he handed over the spatial rings to the female receptionist.
"The spatial rings belong to Gaby. It would be nice of you if you can return them to her later."
Kyle smiled lightly, ignoring the female receptionist's curious gaze.
Her eyes flicked from him to the three spatial rings.
As she accessed the spatial rings, the receptionist raised her right eyebrow.
She was mildly curious but only threw a short glance at Kyle and Selene before she resumed her work.
If Gaby had given Kyle the spatial rings, it could only mean one thing.
She must have gone out with the two adventurers to hunt yet again.
These were the thoughts of the receptionist, who was trying to make up for her earlier unprofessional demeanor.
It didn't take long before she was done with counting the corpses.
Simultaneously, she also noted down their price according to the beast type and cultivation base.
Furthermore, there were several pieces of equipment at the ranked and high ranked grades.
The equipment alone was worth a small fortune.
But that was not all. Even the spatial pouches were filled to the brim.
She could see that it was filled with all kinds of materials, weapons, food and more.
p
"Are you sure that you want to sell everything? The equipment of the Nasga is worth quite a bit, and the Spatial pouches have large storage space."
Kyle was aware of this, but he didn't want to run around with a dozen spatial pouches.
Not only was this uncomfortable, but it could also hinder him in the near future. He might be looking at something way longer than he had time for either way.
Plus, carrying around too many spatial pouches was simply disadvantageous.
"I want to sell everything. How high are the prices for Nasga soldiers' corpses in comparison to common beasts?"
Gaby had already informed the receptionist that Kyle would come with the corpses of Nasga soldiers. As such, she was not astonished when he had arrived in front of her.
Thanks to Gaby's early warning, she was spared embarrassing herself.
It was rare for Nasga soldiers to be found close to the town's borders.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAnd, it was even rarer for a stranger in town to bring back their corpses.
"According to the Guild's rules, the corpses of intelligent races shall be treated the same as ordinary beast corpses. However, this will change upon the infiltration of hostile races.
As such, given the fact that the Nasga soldiers entered the Vila town's territory, you will be rewarded with a bonus of 50%.
However, this is only due to the past history records of the Blood Nasga infiltration!"
Kyle just nodded his head without saying anything. He was happy to receive the bonus.
Despite that, he thought that there could be a peaceful way of handling the dispute between different races.
'We were a two hours trip away from the town when we encountered the Nasga soldiers...and offering a bonus for killing hostile races is likely to cause more problems…'
He couldn't say that he felt comfortable with these rules made by the Guild.
But instead of letting his discomfort show, he smiled lightly.
It was a way of accepting the bonus given to him.
As such, the receptionist smiled in return before she took out a piece of paper.
She then systematically noted the items, and corpses with their respective cultivation base, Kyle wanted to sell.
Right next to the name, the receptionist wrote down the price, using the suitable quality of crystals as currency.
After that, she handed the list to Kyle in addition to a feather and an ink bottle.
She had also added a small clause stating that he accepted the Guild's prices.
Kyle didn't know that this was necessary, but instead of commenting, he quickly glanced through the list.
He skipped through most of the items and his eyes landed on the final sum.
This caused his eyes to go wide in surprise.
Unsure if he had read it right, he went back to the start and began re-reading the list once again.
It had the total number of beasts written at the top below which the average price for each corpse was mentioned. Lastly,

Kyle didn't expect to receive such a huge fortune from the hunt they had to end much earlier than expected.
With those cultivation resources, he could easily increase his own and Selene's cultivation speed by a large margin.
Even after that, there would still be more than enough left to purchase a spatial ring too!
The highest priced item of all was the equipment of the Nasga.
This was a way for the guild to show how beneficial it was to kill other races.
However, Kyle found this to be a bad sign which made him feel uncomfortable.
'These soldiers probably weren't the Elite of the Nasga race...as such, they were at most above average, yet, they already had such a fortune with them… I should definitely pay attention to bandits when I leave the town without Gaby…'
Even if he was not certain, it was obvious that bandits and thieves existed.
In a world reigned by the strong, one required power to protect one's life, assets, and loved ones.
As such, Kyle couldn't help but feel a little bit overwhelmed with the huge fortune.
Never in his life had he seen the wealth of 194 medium-quality Pryr crystals at one place.
It was also because of this reason that Kyle didn't want to carry the crystals around.
Thus, he handed the receptionist his spatial pouch after signing the list of goods.
"Please transfer the crystals into the spatial pouch!"
As someone who had barely started cultivating two months ago, Kyle's wealth had skyrocketed exponentially. Hence, he had to be extra careful about everything in his surroundings.
There were times in which he acted like a foolish youngster.
But in the end, he was still an old soul, who knew about the dangers of the cultivation world.
Owing to his past life he knew what it felt like to be in the shoes of someone who hadn't been able to cultivate.
Because of that, he clearly knew that cultivators were greedy and envious of others' fortune.
Thus, he would rather keep the number of people knowing about his fortune to the bare minimum.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmIt was a rational thought that the female receptionist understood.
The number of burglary incidents was not small.
And it was even riskier in the small town where the people knew everyone.
Greed was an inherent trait of many races, and those races that blindly followed the human race were amongst the worst!
Exceptions existed everywhere, and he had also heard of entire human-like races without the natural essence of greed within them.
However, it was exactly those beings that were likely to lack the ambition to grow stronger than others.
This was because their non-existent greed to become stronger was the reason for their weakness.
It prevented them from annexing resources that had been claimed by other races.
After Kyle had retrieved his spatial pouch, he accessed it to be certain that the crystals were safely stored inside.
He then bid farewell to the female receptionist.
Meanwhile, Selene only nodded her head towards the receptionist. A moment later she turned to Kyle, whom she followed quickly.
Selene's mind was still a mess, and she required time to think about everything.
'Is it really worth resenting the Lohars…? Neither the Aldras, the Nasga, nor Lohars had treated me well, or even like a living being when I was a slave...only Kyle did.
He saved me and allowed me to become stronger...
Now that I am healthy and not alone, the gazes lingering on me are not filled with disgust anymore...but do I even care about that anymore?'
Somehow, Selene hadn't realized that the gazes lingering on her didn't bother her to a great extent.
She didn't even notice them sometimes because her mind would be on her goal.
It was to focus on becoming stronger in order to stay by Kyle's side and to be of help to him.
At the same time, unbeknownst to both Kyle and Selene, his words worked like magic.
His words infused her with a sense of self-confidence she had never felt before.
In the end, she had two awakened cultivation veins and didn't feel any pain anymore.
As such, Selene could now cultivate with both primordial energy and mana.
It was definitely something to be proud of.
She and Kyle couldn't be called strong yet and had a long way to go.
But, with Kyle's capabilities, this couldn't even be considered a problem.
Looking at Kyle's retreating figure, Selene felt that even if the world would go against her, he wouldn't.
'I'll definitely give my best to become stronger...so I can return the favor. It was not a mistake to help me when I was at my lowest.'
At that moment, Selene swore her unwavering loyalty to Kyle, who was clueless about her reasoning.
Both didn't know what kind of outcome this simple pledge would have, and what the future held in store for the two.
It was impossible to imagine what kind of adventurers they were about to face in their journey.
But, despite the dangers and the threats, the future would also let them have a fair share of wondrous events.
Yet, at the same time, they could have never dared to imagine how much pain and terrifying scenarios were bound to happen!
