Everyone focused on Austin, but no one answered the call after it rang for a long while. Finally, he hung

up and frowned. "No one's answering."

"Perhaps he didn't hear it ring. Try again," Dominic urged.

"Actually, I wanted to say that he probably can't answer his phone now," Lily said.

It was pointless to try again because Ross was likely to be detained now.

Austin asked, "Are you saying he's been arrested?"

though he's her son? We all know how ruthless she can be."

The others nodded. The queen was not just ruthless but was also very stubborn. Therefore, she would

have detained Ross for what he did, let alone confiscating his phone.

Austin sighed helplessly. “If that's the case, we have no one to contact in the embassy now.”

“Wasn't Dominic planning to go there?” Mike asked, not giving up. "If he hadn't bumped into Lily, he

would've been inside by now. We should stick to the initial plan and try again.”

He bolted to his feet as he spoke. However, Lily shook her head. “I don't think that's a good idea.”

Alexander nodded in agreement. “Lily was still there before we made our plan, so it made sense for

Dominic to go there with the excuse of visiting her and treating the queen. Now that Lily's back, there's

no reason for Dominic to go. Doing so might arouse suspicion.”

After a pause, he added, “Why would Dominic go there now? Just to treat the queen? I don't think she'll

buy it.”

Mike frowned and fell silent, knowing Alexander was right. It would be too random for Dominic to visit

the embassy now.

Mike plopped onto the sofa in despair and glanced around. “I have another way.”

Lily was puzzled, and so were the others.

“From now on, everything I do has nothing to do with you guys. I'll move out from here later and

remove all your contact information. No one will know where I go or what I'll do."

"What the hell do you mean?" Austin asked, "You're trying to cut ties with us? What do you plan to do?

Don't tell me you plan on forcing your way into the embassy and rescuing your son by arming yourself.

That's fucking crazy!"

He looked at Mike as if the latter had gone insane.

"I know it's crazy. That's why I said what I do would have nothing to do with you all." Mike leaned into

the sofa and sighed before tossing his phone on the table.

"I've already sold all my assets. Besides, I've also made some preparations." Mike looked at them, not

revealing what he was talking about.
