Chapter 576 Calling Her Mom

Seeing that, Zayron quickly shielded Susan and headbutted Waverly. Upon impact, Waverly staggered backward

and plopped right down on the staircase.

“How dare you? Someone throw these b*stards out!” Waverly yelled.

Despite hearing those words, the servants stood still and exchanged glances. The Shurmer family is now under Mr.

Zeke's control, so we should only take orders from him.

Waverly let out a chuckle in exasperation and glared at Zeke, who was standing by the main entrance. While

gritting her teeth, she fumed, “Why did you bring them here? Do you still want Bailey to come back and reclaim her

identity?”

Zeke ignored her and grabbed Susan's hand. “Let's go. I'll bring you guys to check out your rooms. If any of you

don't like what you see, we can make some changes.”

Susan broke into a smile and hugged Zeke's legs. “I want to sleep with you, Uncle Zeke!”

The look in Zeke's eyes softened when he gazed at Susan. I bet Bay was just as adorable when she was little. I've

missed out on watching Bay grow up. Now, I'm going to make it up to her by loving my niece.

“Sure! You'll be sleeping with me,” Zeke answered.

“Mom, why are you on the floor?” Zoey yelled and rushed down the stairs before helping Waverly up.

Zayron and Maxton exchanged looks and saw each other's ill intentions.

“Hmph! How shameless can you be? You know you're not the Shurmer family's biological daughter. Yet, you're

holding on to my mommy's position in the family.”

“Exactly! What a shameless woman! If I were you, I would've packed up and left. Because of you, the rightful

daughter of the family can't even return home. Does God know how pretentious you are?”

“I don't think God knows. Otherwise, she would've been taken off the face of the earth already.”

“That's true. Well, it's not too late now. So many are dying every day. Why hasn't this pretentious woman died?”

The brothers were doing a good job mocking Zoey.

When Zoey heard those remarks, she turned to look at Waverly with her teary eyes.

“M-Mom, I never intended to snatch Bailey's identity. If you want her back, I'll still treat her as a sister. However,

she's crossing the line by asking her kids to mock me,” Zoey uttered.

Waverly shot Maxton and Zayron a cold look and thundered, “Shut up! If you keep spewing nonsense, I'm going to

call the police.”

Zayron spat in disgust, and Maxton followed suit.

Zoey then turned to look at Steven with her watery eyes and choked out tearfully, “It seems like the house doesn't

have a spot for me anymore. Dad, Mom, perhaps you guys should just chase me out. Now that the kids are already

here, it's safe to assume Bailey is also coming home soon. I don't want to embarrass myself by staying here any

longer. Please, just let me go.”

Upon hearing those words, Zayron hunched over and gagged.

Again, Maxton did the same thing.

“How disgusting!”

“How shameless!”

Waverly was so angry that her knees went weak, and she fell heavily onto the staircase again.

Zeke then lowered his head slightly and curled his lips into a grin. It seems like bringing these kids back to the

Shurmer residence is a good idea.

“Let's go. I'll bring you guys up to rest,” Zeke said.

“Sure! However, I want my room to be far away from the pretentious woman's room.”

“Yes. The further, the better.”

Waverly was gritting her teeth as she watched Zeke bring the kids upstairs. “B*stard! Is he trying to give me a heart

attack?”

Steven took a glance at her and said, “He went to the bar to get drunk yesterday. Have you ever seen him go to a

bar? Waverly, your relationship with your son is really going down the hill.”

Waverly trembled slightly in response. Is the distance between me and my son growing wider? Is he turning his

back on me?

For two days straight, all the public statements made by the government departments in Hallsbay were related to

Bailey.

These departments were either saying that Bailey was evading taxes or that she had violated the regulations when

she registered the foundation, or that something was wrong with the account of the foundation.

In the blink of an eye, Bailey became the talk of the town.

However, instead of getting affected, Bailey was focused on doing research on the anti-cancer drugs in the

infirmary of the Luther residence.

On the other hand, Felicity panicked and engaged all the lawyers in Luther Group.

Felicity wanted to clear Bailey's name, but the investigators were sent in from Dellmoor. Therefore, she could only

stay home and watch as things unfolded because she couldn't openly go against the country.

All of a sudden, Felicity saw Bailey rushing into the living room, and Felicity immediately went up to Bailey and

asked, “What's the matter? Are the reporters after you?”

“Mom, I don't have the time to explain things to you, but could you please arrange a driver for me? I need to go to

the Revelle residence. Vero's sickness is acting up, and I need to check on her,” Bailey uttered.

Upon hearing those words, Zayron hunched over and gagged.

Both Bailey and Felicity were stunned by how Bailey addressed Felicity.

Felicity froze momentarily, and her tears were welling up in her eyes. I mistreated Bay back then, and I've been

worried that she might never address me so. Who would've thought that it would sound so natural when she

addressed me as her mom?

“Okay! I'll make the arrangements now. After that, I'll go with you,” Felicity answered.

Bailey smiled in response. I thought I would never address anyone as my mom for the rest of my life. Ever since I

was little, I had never addressed anyone so. Personally, I've been restricting myself to do that. Back then, I thought

Sophia was my mother, and she died in the fire. In order to avenge her, I searched for the truth for several years.

In the end, reality humiliated me. After that, I found out that Waverly is my biological mother. I thought things would

turn out well, but that woman has disappointed me.

That was why Bailey thought she would never need a mother figure in her life.

However, Bailey noticed how concerned Felicity had been over the past few days. While Bailey was moved, she had

also silently acknowledged Felicity.

Most importantly, Felicity was Artemis' mother.

Based on that fact alone, Bailey was willing to forgive Felicity for everything Felicity had done in the past.

As it turned out, Bailey was rather easily contented.

“Bay? Bay?” Felicity called out.

“Huh? What is it?”

“Don't you want to go out? What are you doing standing there? Quickly get changed, will you? If you don't fully

disguise yourself, there's no way I'm letting you leave.”

Bailey reached out her arms and gave Felicity a hug and a peck on the cheek. “Thank you, Mom. I'll go upstairs

now. Please remember to arrange a car for me.”

“Go on, Bay!”

After watching Bailey go up the stairs, Felicity quickly whipped out her phone to send Artemis a text.

Felicity texted: Your wife just addressed me as “Mom”.

Moments later, Artemis replied: I know you just want us to get married sooner.

Felicity saw the text and let out a chuckle in exasperation. What an a*s! Why would I lie to you?

Upon remembering Bailey was rushing to go to the Revelle residence, Felicity didn't dare to waste another second.

Immediately, she went ahead to get the car ready.
