Chapter 5700

James left the new plane and headed to the Mevryees' territory. Now that he had entered

the Transcendental Bliss Rank and mastered countless primitive inscriptions, he could

travel at much greater speeds. He no longer had to rely on Boundarybreaker Runes, as his

traveling speed was superior.

Soon, he arrived where the Mevryees were located.

In the past, the Dark World had the Four Ancient Races. However, the Yefteros, Suuntelis,

and Zoltrumns were destroyed in the previous battle.

Out of the Four Ancient Races, the Mevryees were the only ones that remained.

However, the Mevryess had yet to become the strongest race of the Dark World. Instead,

the Dragon Race reemerged and surpassed the other races.

The Dragon Race's Leader was the Shadowers' Leader.

James appeared outside the Mevryees' spiritual mountain. Although a formation protected

the territory, he could easily passthrough it.

Without even having to touch the formation, James teleported to the other side. After

locating Talvelai, he immediately disappeared from the spot.

There was a strange place at the back of the Mevryees’ main mountain.

Talvelai sat in a lotus position on the ground, and powerful force emitted from his body.

As soon as James appeared in the area, he sensed the potent pressure of the Dark World.

It was so powerful and seemed to be attempting to devour Talvelai.

Talvelai struggled to resist being engulfed by the force.

Veins bulged on his face, and his expression distorted in pain. He had already mobilized

his strength, but the pressure gradually grew stronger. His body began to tremble,

showing signs of losing to the force.

James' brows furrowed. He wanted to observe to learn more about the Ritual Rank.

However, Talvelai was evidently at his limits.

He quickly stepped forward and intervened. With the wave of a hand, countless

inscriptions materialized to form a small world and block out the Dark Power.

After being wrapped Inside the Inscription World, Talvelai panted heavily. He wiped the

sweat on his forehead. Then, he looked at James and said gratefully, 'Thank you.”

James waved his hand and said, "I only used some inscriptions to form this space to

temporarily sever the connection with the Dark World. Once the inscriptions disperse,

you'll be devoured."

"Damn it!'' Talvelai cursed, "As my strength increased, the power swallowing me grew. I've

read through countless

ancient books but still do not know what is happening."

James explained, "It's an incredibly bizarre rank. Only some living beings that have

acquired great boons will enter this rank. Unfortunately, after entering the rank, the Dark

World will devour you and return you to the darkness."

He had been thinking about the Ritual Rank. When he first heard Xzavion speak about it,

he was incredibly puzzled. Why did the Ritual Rank appear, and why did some living

beings have to be sacrificed back to the Dark World? He thought about the possibility of

the Dark World having a consciousness. However, he could not get to the bottom of it, no

matter how hard he tried to think about it.

"What should I do now?" Talvelai looked at James and asked, "I'm helpless. During this

period, I’ve had to stay in seclusion and resist the Dark Power. I would've been doomed if

you didn't show up just now."

James said, 'There’s a way out."

James knew how to avoid perishing in the Ritual Rank.

However, James had no idea whether Xayal existed in their era.

Talvelai would die if Xayal could secretly pull strings from the dark.

"What is it?" Talvelai asked worriedly.

"You stay in this world for a while. I must do some stuff and verify something first. After I

integrate our plane with the Prison World, I'll tell you what to do," replied James.

"Okay."
