Maxine ignored him and turned to James, saying, “Let’s go, James.”
“Okay.” James nodded.
They turned and left.
Bobby shouted, “James, do you think I wouldn’t come for you just because you’ve gained grandpa’s support? Just wait. I’ll kill you

James walked out of the courtyard.
Outside the Cadens’ mansion…
Maxine said apologetically, “James, don’t take it to heart.”
James smiled lightly.

himself some trouble.
