In a daze, David snapped to attention at once, replying with a firm, "Yes, sir!" He immediately began to push Lysander's wheelchair towards the exit.
"Stop right there!" The deep, decisive voice of Zephyr rang out.

Zephyr rose from his seat, striding swiftly to Lysander, blocking his path, his voice filled with frustration, "Where do you think you're going? To see Thalassa?" Lysander was noncommittal, "And if I am?" Zephyr, holding back his anger, retorted, "I've told you before, stop entangling yourself with Thalassa. Hasn't she caused enough trouble for the Sinclair family?" "She hasn't done anything. How has she stirred trouble for the Sinclair family?" Lysander reasoned. "It waswho insisted on keeping her by my side, andwho chose to save her. She never asked for anything in return." During his days of leisure at home, Lysander had revisited the entire sequence of events since meeting Thalassa. Thalassa had always been there passively, and even though she had borne him four children, she had never asked him for anything, not even a penny.
"That's precisely her cunning, manipulating people's hearts, and that's what's truly terrifying," Zephyr said, his voice heavy with worry for Lysander, "Think of your father. Didn't his obsession with a woman lead to his downfall?" Lysander felt a sting in his heart. The outcof his parents was a sore spot, and touching it felt like suffocation. Gripping the wheelchair's armrest tightly, his eyes coldly fixed on Zephyr, Lysander retorted, "My father is my father, I am me, Belinda is Belinda, Thalassa is Thalassa. They're not the same, there's no need to compare." Firmly, he commanded, "David, let's go." NOW PLAY YOUR FAVOURITE GAMES ON With a jolt, David resumed pushing Lysander's wheelchair, making a detour around Zephyr. Zephyr's face turned a shade darker with anger, "What about Rosalind if you go to her now?" "I'll explain everything to Joshua when he wakes up," Lysander replied without looking back. David didn't slow down; instead, he quickened his pace, helping Lysander into the car.
Despite Zephyr's anger, he was powerless to stop Lysander. Once Lysander set his mind on something, he saw it through, no matter what.
Thalassa took a cab back to Star Harbor Villa. Her aunt, Astrid Pendleton, wasn't home, having been asked out on a date by Dr. Funke.

Thalassa was both curious and amused that Dr. Funke had been asking her aunt out consecutively for several days. She had initially thought that Dr. Funke's sudden date request was just to spite her for setting him up with a no-show date. But it seemed Dr. Funke was genuinely interested! Thalassa pondered; ever since her uncle passed away, her aunt had been single. It was nice that she might find someone in her later years.
After taking a shower and slipping into her nightgown, Thalassa sat on the sofa, lifting her legs. From her knee to her calf there was a large area of bruising, evidently scraped by the wheelchair's wheels. A mere Bhusalt here was a large touch sent a sharp, burning pain through her, making her hold her breath and quickly retract her hand, not daring to touch it again.
The pain was searing when the shower water hit the wounded area.
She hadn't realized the extent of the injury until now, wearing a skirt and seeing the size of the bruise. Without any medication at hfor bruises or sprains, all she could do was wait for it to heal on its own. Search the Findwebsite on Gøøgle to access chapters of early and in the highest quality.
