Claire handed her bag to Paula and asked Paula to hold it for her then asked the head chef for an

apron to tie around her waist and a chef’s hat. She did look like a chef now.

The head chef pointed to the flavorings and already–prepared ingredients and said, “Ms. Donovan, I’ve

got what you asked for, the beef is marinated, and the ingredients are all prepared.”

The hotel was owned by the Paragon Group and Claire had asked for what she needed before she

arrived, so all of the chefs here, including the head chef, had to do their best to help her.

Julia looked over and said, “Looks like you don’t need my help. Claire, you’ll be fine on your own.””

“Yes!”

Claire said and got to work on the dishes.

Kira stood next to Paula, she was under the impression that it was normal for

a woman to cook, but she didn’t believe Claire could cook better than the chefs in a five–star hotel.

Seeing Claire pick up the large pan, she frowned at the sight, “Mom, look at that pan! It’s bigger than

Claire’s face, can she hold it?”

Julia laughed out loud, “What? You look down on Claire? She’s strong!”

she turned around and picked up the peppers.

No sooner had they finished speaking than Claire finished cooking the dishes.
