When his summons had mopped up the group of people, Leon urged Fenrir to walk forward. The monsters in the background had also turned their attention to their new foe. These monsters were unlike anything Leon had ever seen before.

They were large horses, but not ordinary horses. These horses were on fire. Their manes and tails were made of running, orange flames, and their eyes glowed with red. Wisps of fire flocked around their hooves and they kicked at the ground.

A giant horse that was obviously the king amongst them stepped forward, its red eyes pinned on Leon. Or rather, pinned on Fenrir. It could feel the stark contrast between its natural element and the ice of the Ice Wolves. This confrontation was a major one on multiple different levels. Fire and Ice. Living and Undead. The two giant creatures stared at each other, the tension building up high.

p Grrrr...

Fenrir let out a deep growl while the giant Flaming Horse King neighed indignantly. The two mighty kings were ready for a battle, and both of them wanted to prove that their element was better than the other. Of course, Leon was excited to see what would happen between the two side. He smoothly dismounted Fenrir so the Ice Wolf King could fight at his best.

"You ready, Jet?" Leon asked his friend. His arm stretched forward and a long spear with a shiny tip manifested in his open hand. A black flame danced on its tip, heating up the spear tip, but also leaving a nasty curse in place for anyone pierced by it.

"I was born ready." Jet grinned from on top of his Torch Tiger. His swords were already drawn and ready to draw blood. "Whoever kills the most gets the most from this dungeon."

"Sure." Leon nodded and burst forward. His movement was the fuse that set off the rest. Torch Tigers, Undead Millipede Sentinels, Skara Warriors, and other different summons that he had turned all rushed right at army of flaming horses.

Leon appeared in the midst of the flaming horses like a dark shadow that had been birthed by the bright flames crowning their bodies. His spear stabbed forward, striking one horse right in the center of its head. His spear bore into its skull and dug into its hot brain, before sticking out the other end of its head.

[Level 42 Flaming Stallion killed!]

Whoosh!

Lein leapt back, drawing his spear out of the way, just as a Flaming Steed came speeding by. As it passed, it spat out a hot breath of burning flames right at Leon, which he waved away with a strong gust of wind. The horses reminded Leon of a movie he had watched on Earth, but he could not recall the name.

Water manifested out of the ambient mana in the air, turning black as it was corrupted with Dark magic. The water spun into a circular blade that swirled around Leon, before blasting out and slicing into all the flaming monsters around him. Pained neighs rang out as the sharpened water dug deep into their flesh. Then the area around the slice began to darken with poison. The strength of the monsters was sapped little by little, draining them of all the energy and life they had.

Leon briefly flicked through his status and noted that the Dark Magic skill had gone up to level 92, and he grinned manically. The grin on his skull face made him look ten times more menacing than he already did, and he knew it.

A black dome made out of mana suddenly expanded around Leon. His domain was manifesting. Something that he had only used a handful of times so far. The stallions that were caught in his domain all neighed in fear when they felt their life forces leaking out of their cores. Dark, wispy hands reached up from the black ground, gripping their legs and holding them in place, preventing them from running and escaping their fate.

Boom!

Somewhere not far away, Jet landed in the midst of the monsters, mounted up on the back of the boss of his own dungeon. It was a powerful Peak B rank Torch Tiger. The Torch Tigers were of the fire element, same as the Flaming Stallions, but his mount was much stronger than most of the beasts before him. It used its overwhelming might to wash over the mass of monsters that stood against them. The lesser stallions only amounted to a hundred so with him and Leon mowing through them, it did not take long to put them all down.

The main fight was not being handled by them, though. Instead, Fenrir went toe to toe with the Flaming Stallion King. Black ice battled with the red lava that was being spewed by the fiery beast.

A wave of black and blue ice and snow rose up high, touching the high ceiling of the hall they were battling in. The fiery stallion king tried to combat it with a wave of lava, but fell short of the immense amount of mana that the wolf king was able to draw upon as one of Leon's summons. Freezing cold and burning flames battled for a few moments before the fire was overwhelmed by the ice and was quenched, giving rise to a cascade of steam and rapidly freezing water.

The Flaming Stallion King neighed and brayed in anger and fear as ice froze its body in place. The fire of its mane and tail had been put out, leaving its head bare, and its tail with only a few strands of hair on it. The fire of the Flaming Stallion King was its pride and joy. Having those flames put out was a bigger shame than anything it could ever experience in its life. The red pupils of its eyes burnt with an unquenchable hatred for Fenrir, but it raised its head up high. It would die with the last scraps of its honor.
