Leon did not want to focus too much on the matter of Dizen's comfort around Leonidas. They were about to engage in a war that would decide a lot, depending on how this first confrontation went.

He turned around and immediately took off, flying to the top of the wall where he could get a good view of the sea that spread in the distance. He could no longer see Oris and the Dark Wing Eagles, but through their shared vision, he was able to see as they rapidly soared through the air. It only took a few minutes before he spotted the thick cloud of fog that floated over the sea. That was the fog that covered the enemy fleet's advance.

With a cry, Oris and his kin dove into the fog. The illusory powers of the fog tried to affect their minds, but was easily brushed off. The reason for this was because of the fact that they partially shared a mind with Leon. His mental strength was able to offset the effects of the illusion on his summons' minds.

Like arrows, the dark forms of the eagles tore through the fog, and soon appeared in front of the fleet. The mage that kept up the illusion spell had already been alerted to their presence, so the Demons were prepared to fight.

Caw!

Seeing this, Oris let out a loud screech and tucked his wings against his body. A spatial barrier appeared around his two meter tall body, and he divebombed into the deck of the foremost ship in the fleet.

Bang!

Wood broke and splintered all around as Oris drilled entirely through the ship, and into the water.

"What?!"

The Demons were taken by surprise. They had not expected the birds to tear through their ships as if they were paper.

Dozens of birds divebombed, turning themselves into kamikaze-like figures as they tore holes through a dozens ships. Already the first few ships that had been struck had begun to tilt on their sides as over a dozen large holes were torn through them, from top to bottom.

The mages on the ships scrambled to do some damage control, but most times, when they arrived at the holes where water gushed into the ships from they were immediately assaulted by spatial blades that sliced them into pieces. A large amount of C rank soldiers immediately met their demise as Leon's powerful summons displayed their capabilities.

From the flagship of the fleet where Vander and the other A rank Demons in the fleet were, reports constantly came in.

"The ships on the outer lines have been attacked!"

Three ships are too damaged, and are already half sunken!"

"Our men are being slaughtered by the birds!"

Vander had a strange look on his face as he listened to the reports. He felt surprised and could not help the incredulous expression that slowly covered his face.

"What are our B rank soldiers doing? Have they not taken care of those damn birds?!" He growled to the messengers that sat in a circle and telepathically kept track of the ships in the fleet.

"Th-the B rank soldiers are also being killed!" One of the mages stuttered as he received the latest report from one ship.

"Argh!" Another of the mages to the side suddenly grunted and spat out mouthful of blood as the telepathic channel he was communicating with was cut off on the other end.

"WHAT HAPPENED?!" Vander was beginning to lose his composure, as he kept on getting answers that he did not want. He stormed over to the one who had spat out blood and lifted him from the collar of his robes.

"The birds... They have spatial powers!" The man stuttered and spat out more blood. That was the only thing he had been able to get from the now dead mage on the other side of the connection before the man was dismembered by a large, black bird.

"Spatial powers?" Vander let go of the man and his mind began to churn.

"I believe they are also at least High B rank..." The mage added when he had stopped coughing.

Vander nodded his head and turned around to the shadow brothers. "Send out the Peak B ranks to mitigate the damage. We cannot let any more ships sink."

Raiko nodded his head with a serious expression and vanished, while Viktor stood with a smirk on his face.

"Are you seriously so bothered about a few B rank birds? Heck, I can go and wipe them out in a couple of minutes." The man said with a toothy grin that showed off sharp canines.

"We cannot reveal all out cards at once. Especially if the enemy is somehow able to keep track of our movements. Remember, our ship can conceal out auras, but the moment we step off it, we will be as obvious as a fireball in a dark room." Vander told his friend and turned away.

Just as he finished speaking, several forms took off from the ships that were in the center of the fleet formation with them.

Two dozen B ranks that were in the Mid-High B rank range spread out between the ships. The Mid B ranks split into teams of two, while the High B ranks went off on their own. No Peak B rank exposed themselves either for the time to give the enemy a sense of security, misleading them to believe that there was a limited amount of strength with the fleet. If they did not show off too many people of high combat power, then the enemy would be led to believe that they did not possess too much strength. Perhaps they would even think that the commander of this fleet was a Peak B rank.

And indeed, at first, that was what Leon thought. But Leonidas appeared beside him at that moment.

"This might be a tactic to make you doubt the strength of the fleet. Expect at least a Low A rank commander. The Demons have the manpower to spare." Leonidas said with a serious tone.
