Chapter 498 Battle Of Valeant - Fighting Pheher (11)

The skies shook and threatened to fall as several powerful Gods clashed against each other. Several gigantic figures exchanged blows at a speed that most could not follow. The ones that were leading the fight against Pheher were Dardan, Hadrion and Leon.

As the Beast God, it was trivial for Dardan to increase his size without losing any combat strength, unlike some other Gods that would be out of their league because they would be directing their attention to keeping an enlarged size while fighting intensely.

As for Leon, with his understanding of the Law of Gigantification that he gained from Somonax, it was not a problem for him to increase his size for an extended period of time.

As for Hadrion, he was a Dragon God. His body was his greatest asset, so it was only natural that when he transformed into his true form, he was already gigantic in the first place.

Pheher's swords flashed and wherever they passed, space cracked and shattered. They were imbued with the Law of Destruction and any injury from them would be devastating no matter what level the one on the receiving end was at.

Leon's bones constantly sprouted and grew, forming shields, weapons and armor as he fought against Pheher. The Battle God's sword constantly broke apart the bone constructs, but one thing he was not lacking was more bone to replace them.

Whoosh!

The bone sword in his hand glowed with purple fire as he prepared himself to strike. Dardan appeared behind Pheher and wrapped his arms around Pheher's body before lifting him up and slamming him down on the ground. The Beast God's mouth snapped open and a cascade of green flames washed over Pheher's body.

Right on the heels of that, Dardan jumped back just before a concentrated beam of black light crashed down on Pheher's position. An explosion of black light quickly spread in all directions and ate up the earth and space around there. The black beam of light was in fact, Hadrion's Dragon Breath. It was a concentrated release of the Dark Energy that was constantly circulating in Hadrion's body.

When the black light gave way, the injured form of Pheher was revealed, but his face was split with an excited grin as he stared down his opponents. His wounds were rapidly regenerating, but some areas were not. Instead, they were being ravaged by the remnant Dark Energy of Hadrion's breath attack.

"That was an impressive attack! It has been far too long since I have been able to face strong opponents like you. Indeed, Datar was the right place to come to!" Pheher laughed manically as he got to his feet.

The faces of the Gods of Datar twisted when they saw this. Dardan turned to Asteria. "Go and help Michael and the others. The sooner you defeat the other Gods, the sooner you all can come and help out with this one." He instructed.

"Are you sure?" Asteria asked. She had also grown in size, but nothing near the extent of the others.

"Yes. We can hold him back at the very least. I am confident in at least that." Dardan nodded and hearing this, Asteria nodded before turning into a stream of red fire and dashing into the distance to return to the battle with the other Gods.

Now, Pheher was facing off against three Gods. All four of them were massive figures that stood at hundreds of meters in height.

No words were exchanged before all of them burst into action.

As he was only able to temporarily wield the power of a Major God, Leon was the weakest present at the moment so he took the backfoot and hung back a bit to provide more support for the others while Dardan and Hadrion took the front and led the fight against Pheher.

Dardan's body morphed endlessly as he constantly transformed to fit the situation. He grew horns, bone bone formations and stronger scales that usual as he exchanged blows directly with Pheher. As one of the strongest Gods of Datar, he was capable of showing a terrifying combat power that could hold Pheher at bay by himself alone.

Hadrion had transformed into his true body. The giant, black scaled Dragon twisted through the air as he utilized every part of his body to fight. Whenever Dardan was forced a step back, he would be there to cover for Dardan and press Pheher back.

As for Leon, he channeled one of the Laws Grokus focused on, the Laws of Curses, and gained a greater understanding of how to buff and debuff his allies and enemies. While he already possessed some understanding of this law, Grokus' understanding was more in-depth, as his combat style circled around it.

His eye sockets flashed with ominous lights and the projection of a giant skull flashed around him before vanishing. In the next moment, an imprint of a giant glowing green skull appeared on the backs of his allies.

As for Pheher, the projection of a glowing purple skull appeared behind him and flashed. His strength instantly dropped by a noticeable margin. It caught him off guard, allowing Dardan and Hadrion to overwhelm him for a moment.

"Hiding behind your allies?! They can't save you from my might!" Pheher exploded with rage and the flames on his body burned hotter, but they did not produce any significant increase in strength for him despite that.

Dardan and Hadrion eagerly exploited this opening that was brought about by Pheher's drop in strength, suppressing him while they could. They knew that Leon could not keep this up forever, and intended to end the battle as soon as possible, or at least, seriously injure Pheher before the suppression wore off.

The battle dragged on, and the four Gods continued to exchange blows. Injuries piled up on both sides, but Pheher's situation was much worse than Dardan and Hadrion's. With Leon's support, their injuries were healing at a faster pace and they were able to avoid many close shaves.
