A chill swept through the room as Nina spoke, the cold breeze entering through the window like an eerie whisper, sending shivers down everyone's spine.
Mira let out a high-pitched scream, cupping her ears. "Could it be that ghosts are following us?" "Don't worry," Nina said, trying to muster up scourage, though her voice betrayed her fear. "We've got our lucky red dots on our foreheads, ghosts wouldn't dare cnear us." In truth, she was scared it was the spirits of those she had wronged seeking vengeance.
Kane stroked his chin, lost in thought as he peered out the window. What had Nova seen? "Whatever Nova saw, it must have something to do with Uncle Skyer," Kane asserted.
Skyler scratched his head, as confused as a monk on his first day at the monastery.

"Could it be Aunt Tanya has passed away?" At the thought, Skyler bolted from the room to find Leopold, with the rest of the kids trailing behind.
Leopold was tucked in bed, snuggling with Aurelia.
At the sight of Skyler's panicked face, Leopold asked, bewildered, "What happened?" "Leopold, has Aunt Tanya died?" Skyler blurted out, recalling how she had mentioned being gravely ill and might have succumbed to the exotic ailments of the Caribbean.
Leopold choked on his words, "Why would you think that?" "Didn't she say she was very sick?" Skyler pressed.
"She's not sick at all," Leopold assured him. "She was just faking it to fool everyone. Tanya is living it up, enjoying the sea breeze and her leisure days." Skyler slapped his forehead in relief. "Good to know Aunt Tanya is not a ghost. But then, who could be haunting me?" At the mention of a ghost, Aurelia sat up with a start. "Are you kids seeing ghosts again?" "It's not us. We're too grown up to see ghosts now," Mira said cutely. "It's Nova who's seen a ghost again." "Nova dragged Uncle Skyler to the window, but there was nothing there. She keeps talking to him, so we think the ghost must be related to Uncle Skyler," Nina explained.
Aurelia was somewhat speechless. No wonder Skyler was worried about Aunt Tanya.
Leopold was still puzzled. "How could there be ghosts in broad daylight?" Nina recounted the strange happenings around Nova that day to him.
"Uncle Leopold, if what Nova saw wasn't a ghost, what was it?" Leopold was clueless. If it had been just one sighting, it could be a trick of the light, but more than once was peculiar.
However, Nova was just a baby, likely intrigued by sty.

Leopold's theory was something Aurelia had considered. She initially dismissed it as a small animal. But William's question made her doubt.
She rose from her bed and went to the opposite room to find Nova.
By then, Nova had crawled to the door, longing to join the others, when the nanny scooped her up.
Seeing the kids return, Nova giggled with delight, fearing they had stopped playing with her.
Aurelia took her from the nanny's arms, holding her by the window and asking, "Sweetheart, what did you see outside the window just now?" Nova blinked her big eyes, seemingly understanding Aurelia's question. Perhaps she was a child prodigy with a high IQ.
She pointed her little finger outside, then turned to gaze at Skyler, babbling, "Ah-goo, ga-ga..."
