"Nope," Beverley shook her head, swirling her tea in the glass, "lI haven't seen her with a boyfriend. She's pretty picky about guys." Aurelia stirred her fruit tea and pondered.
Could she actually be falling for Avery? In her mind, the perfect match for Avery was Leah, smart, adorable, and practically family. If Avery married her, it would be a match made in heaven.
She had to make sure Avery didn't miss out on the chance with Leah. She'd be the perfect wife for him.
Thursday rolled around, and with it came Children's Day.
Aurelia had thrown a bash in the backyard of her villa for the kids.

In attendance were Kane, William, and Skyler, along with Nina, Mira, Emma's daughter Margot, and Bella.
William had even brought along his best buddy Nellie.
Skyler was over the moon; it. It had been years since he'd celebrated Children's Day. His parents had decided he'd outgrown it once he hit nine.
Yet, he still felt like a kid at heart.
William walked over, holding Nellie's hand, and introduced her to Skyler and Kane.
Skyler grinned wide, "I've seen you on that TV show with Avery. You were awesome." "Thanks," Nellie grinned back, her dimples deepening adorably.
The adults had donned mascot costumes for the occasion. Avery was dressed as a frog prince, Aurelia as Superman, Leah as LinaBell, and Emma as Stellalou...
They led the younger ones into the wonderland of the party.
"Wow, Superman!" Skyler clapped excitedly.
"Frog Prince!" Mira hopped toward Avery.
Avery handed her a tiny stuffed frog, "Take good care of my little Froggie, okay?" Margot and Bella wanted one too, stretching out their tiny hands, "One for me, please." Avery handed out little frogs to all the kids.

They played in the amusement park, claw machines, ring toss, and carousel rides.
When it was time for sweets, the adults shed their costumes to join the kids in a feast of delights.
Avery picked up a box of strawberry milkshakes and offered one to Leah with a teasing smile, "Should | also get you a Children's Day gift?" Leah stuck her tongue out, "I'm not a kid anymore." Avery ruffled her hair affectionately, "You're only twenty, close enough to a kid." William blinked mischievously, "Avery, Children's Day's not a right time. You should prepare a gift for Leah on Valentine's Day." Kane nodded in agreement, "William's right. Leah might not like a Children's Day gift, but she'd love a Valentine's gift." Avery was somewhat speechless..
Kids said the darnedest things.
"You don't know what you're talking about, so zip it." William stuck out his tongue at him, "Doesn't matter. There's bound to be loads of guys giving Leah Valentine's gifts. One more or one less from you won't make a difference." Avery felt like he'd been punched in the gut. Were there really that many guys after Leah? He was clueless about this.
Leah took a sip of her milkshake, her heart soaring at the thought of Avery falling for Marianne, even the sweet strawberries seemed to taste bitter.
Skyler said, "Avery, just marry Leah already. | really want to be your best man." Avery was a mess, "Skyler, | told you, no girlfriends until I'm twenty-eight." Aurelia patted Avery's shoulder with a laugh, "Avery is the dream guy for like a billion girls worldwide. If he gets a girlfriend, there'll be a sea of tears enough to raise the ocean level. So, for the sake of humanity, Avery can't rush into love." Skyler sighed, "Being a celebrity is tough. Is anyone else getting hitched soon? | really wanna be a best man." William stroked his chin thoughtfully, "My mom'll probably get married before Uncle Avery does."
