Chapter 169: Oblivion Vampire

During these twenty years in the event, there were many participants who rose out of nowhere after getting a fortune from the red egg, while there were also many who got disqualified out of nowhere after getting a good reward.

One such participant who disappointed the crowd was Noah.

Noah was one of the participants that had arrived in the store for the first time. He belonged to the race Vampire of the group of Demon race. He wasn't an ordinary vampire. He belonged to the Oblivion Vampire, the strongest vampire race in the Primal dimension, and he belonged to the royal lineage of the Oblivion Vampires.

Vampires had pure white skins, black pupils that glowed red whenever they were in battle, and silver hairs, but the Oblivion Vampires had dark skins, black pupils, and black hair. Unlike other vampire species, they had two curved horns.

Noah belonged to the Empire of Vlad since they directly descended from the primogenitor of the Vampires, Vlad. Noah's father was the current Emperor of the Empire.

The Empire of Vlad wasn't an Empire located on the planet Visteerna. Instead, they ruled a cluster of hundreds of universes and named it their Empire.

The Empire of Vlad was one of the top groups of the Primal dimension, with only a countable number of organizations either having equal power or surpassing them.

Noah already had an elder brother, so he could never become the Emperor since the Oblivion Vampires had a tradition that only the eldest born would become the Emperor. In case the eldest of the family died, the eldest of the next generation would become the ruler of the Empire.

Since Noah couldn't become the Emperor, his father commanded him to take care of the affairs of the other Vampire species in different parts of the Primal dimension.

Following the Emperor's order, Noah was traveling around the dimension to see to other Vampire species. When he was traveling on the Anga continent in the Chivelle Kingdom since Vampires had a town there, he also heard the announcement made by the king.

He also decided to check the event like many others, but his goal wasn't to win since he was happy with the way his life was going. He couldn't become the Emperor, but he had as many resources as he wanted to cultivate due to being a royal descendant.

When he heard about the Panagea, it piqued his interest since he himself had never heard of anything like the Panagea despite belonging to one of the top organizations of the Primal dimension.

When he heard about the territory reward, he didn't know why but the feeling of gaining something he could never gain emerged in his heart.

He thought he was happy with not being ever able to become an Emperor and had tons of resources for himself, but when he heard about having his own territory in the Panagea, the Illusion of being happy broke down and instead, an excitement of having a territory of his own emerged.

Since only the eldest could become the Emperor, the young siblings could conquer some other territories and start their own Kingdom, but the clan of Oblivion Vampires strictly prohibited any royal descendant to have even a little territory on their name outside the Empire of Vlad in the Primal dimension. If someone dared to break it, they would get eternal prison life.

They did this because the elders of the clan didn't want to see a fight in the future due to jealousy.

But since the territory in the Panagea didn't exist in the Primal dimension, Noah wouldn't break any rule if he won it and started his own small Kingdom on it, so he also decided to participate in the event.

After deciding to participate, he didn't wait and raised his hands. A few moments later he found himself teleporting from the chair to the platform.

Participants who had gathered near him stepped away from him as a result of the name the Oblivion Vampires have gotten for their actions. There had been many wars that had engulfed at least one-fourth of the Primal dimension, and in almost every war, Oblivion Vampires were either the force that caused the war or the force that supported it.

Noah didn't mind it since he also enjoyed the look of fear many races had when they saw any being of the Oblivion Vampires.

After Aakesh ordered the participants to enter, he also entered the dimensional portal like all others.

The next moment, he appeared in an area that was surrounded by mountains. It wasn't beautiful mountains, but instead, it was volcanic mountains on the verge of erupting.

Since he was an Oblivion Vampire, his physique when he was an ordinary being would still be equivalent to Nascent Soul humans, but Aakesh had told them that every participant would start out as equal, so he had an ordinary physique.

The moment he appeared, he started jumping since the land was hot, and the shoes he was wearing had disappeared.

"Boom!"

He was only thinking of the burning pain in his foot when the next moment, an explosion rang.

He looked at the source of the explosion, and his face lost all the colors. He saw lava spewing from the mountain a few hundred meters from him.

He didn't think anything at that moment and ran in the opposite direction.

While running, he heard the sound of something flowing. He looked behind, and his face turned even paler as he found the lava, like an avalanche following him.

He forgot about his pain at that moment and ran with all his power.

Fortunately for him, he only had to run for around 300 meters as he noticed a green crack some distance away from him.

He increased his speed even further, and when he was only a few meters away from the green crack, he jumped while extending his hand as far as he could.

Before he could touch the ground, the tip of his finger lightly brushed the crack, and the next moment, it sucked him inside the portal.

Right after he got sucked in, the lava overwhelmed the green crack, but as if it was only a projection, the crack seemed unaffected by the lava, and it passed right through it.
