Chapter 56: “It’s Me, Ye Sui; Look At Me! (3)Chapter 56: “It’s Me, Ye Sui; Look At Me! (3)
“Chen Shu, it’s me, Ye Sui.”
Ye Sui didn’t know if it would be effective. She only knew that Chen Shu should not continue like this. In such a situation, she brought him back to the real world in a gentle way.
Perhaps, in Chen Shu’s memory, Ye Sui was different from others. Therefore, he was vaguely aware of her worries.
She was calling him back.
Chen Shu’s expression finally had fluctuations: there was a small flash of light in the corner of his eyes. He opened his mouth and spoke the familiar name in his memory. “Ye Sui?”
Ye Sui’s heart was relieved. She could see that Chen Shu’s state was not quite right, but at least he listened to her words.
Ye Sui continued to patiently say, “It’s me, Ye Sui; look at me.”

Ye Sui looked at Chen Shu, her voice soft and gentle. “Will you come with me?” She glanced at him, who was not wearing shoes. It was already autumn, and he would get sick if he continued to stand there.
Chen Shu did not refuse.
Ye Sui stretched out her hand, and her palm gently covered Chen Shu’s, only feeling as if his body temperature was colder than the autumn night.
Ye Sui tightened her grip slightly as she led Chen Shu forward. He followed her like an obedient child and walked slowly step by step.
When they reached the bed, Ye Sui looked at Chen Shu and pointed at it. “Lie down and sleep.” After he fell asleep, she could leave with peace of mind.
Chen Shu did not move and just looked at Ye Sui without any emotion. She sighed as she forgot that Chen Shu was not fully awake.
Then she could only see it to the end.
Ye Sui still held Chen Shu’s hand as she bent down and sat on the bed. She grasped his other hand, patted the bed, and said, “Lie down and sleep.”
Hearing Ye Sui’s order, Chen Shu slowly laid down beside her. Lost in thought, she leaned over, her face toward Chen Shu.
Chen Shu also tilted his head and looked at Ye Sui. The two gazed at each other in the dark.
Ye Sui did not move her eyes. Instead, she stared into Chen Shu’s and said warmly, “It’s getting late. Go to bed.”
Her voice was so pleasant. It seemed as if it could sooth all his uneasiness. Chen Shu closed his eyes and fell asleep, but he still held Ye Sui’s hand and did not let go.
Ye Sui also had to lie on the bed.
In the quiet night, in the same bed, two people accompanied each other. The night was getting darker and darker, and their breathing became long and slow.
That night, Chen Shu had a dream.

The door was still closed, but she did not give up. She repeated his name over and over again and continued to try to bring him out of the darkness.
Finally, Chen Shu opened the door and saw a woman standing there: Ye Sui’s familiar face dispelling his shadows. Behind her was bright and warm sunshine. She looked at him and smiled.
Chen Shu woke up from his dream and opened his eyes. The sky was already bright, and the sunlight was spreading through the windows onto the floor.
Chen Shu bowed his head and glanced at his hand; he was holding Ye Sui’s hand, his fingers enjoying her delicate skin. He remembered some fragments of last night.
Ye Sui had called his name, held him by the hand, and slept in his bed all night... So they went to sleep together while holding hands.
Chen Shu watched Ye Sui with dark eyes like ink. Presently, she was still asleep. From his point of view, he could see the thick eyelashes of Ye Sui slightly trembling.
At this moment, Ye Sui followed her sleeping habits as she suddenly turned over and just rolled into Chen Shu’s arms. The distance between the duo suddenly narrowed.
The two of them were face to face, their nose tips almost touching each other. Ye Sui’s hair also anxiously brushed Chen Shu’s face.
Ye Sui’s face was so close at hand.
Chen Shu’s body was stiff, his breathing sluggish, and his heartbeat suddenly turned wild.
