The wound on Bob's arm had basically healed, but he could not exercise it too much to avoid rupturing the wound
that had not fully healed.
Upon hearing Sean's question, Bob immediately moved his arm to show Sean and said with a chuckle, "Commander
Lennon, my arm has pretty much recovered. It doesn't affect my life. I can still do labor work! It's just that I have
only one arm left, and the factories and mines don't want me..."
Bob's expression darkened again at the end of his speech.
Sean performed the amputation, and the surgery was successful with no after-effects.
However, he lost an arm after all. He could not work like regular people anymore. He had also approached the coal
mine he used to work at to find a job, but they rejected him.

man had no shame.
"Don't worry. I will help you find a job. You need more rest..." Sean said to Bob.
To reassure Bob and prevent him from thinking he was only comforting him, Sean added, "We lack someone to
manage the canteen warehouse at the city defense army's main camp..."
"You could be the warehouse keeper. It's not labor work. You can consider it a desk job. Of course, it doesn't pay
much-only 3,000 Dragon Dollars a month."
Bob was thrilled once he heard the words "3,000 Dragon Dollars.."
After all, he used to work his butt off in the coal mine, only to be paid little more than 2,000 Dragon Dollars a
month.
Managing a warehouse sounded like a much easier job than working in a coal mine, and the pay was much higher.
How could Bob not be happy with that?
However, Sean suddenly remembered something and asked, "You can read, right? Can you do basic reading,
writing, and arithmetic?"
Primary school students in Dragon Kingdom were required to master basic reading, writing, and mathematics, but
they were in the City-State Union and the slum.
Sean was unsure whether Bob could do it. After all, there were many poor people in the slum who did not know a
single word, and many had never been to school.
Hearing Sean's words, Bob immediately nodded repeatedly. "Yes, I can read and do arithmetic. I have no problem
with them!"

"That's good..." Sean smiled and nodded.
Yvonne and Yvonne's mother were overjoyed. Bob had a job, and they did not have to work so hard anymore.
Yvonne's mother shed tears of gratitude as she said, "Commander Lennon, thank you. You're a lifesaver for our
family!"
"It's nothing..." Sean said quietly.
Looking at Sean sitting on a stool eating dumplings, Yvonne's mother suddenly blushed.
She leaned over and asked, "Commander Lennon, how old are you?"
"I am 23," Sean replied.
Yvonne's mother was surprised to hear Sean's answer because Sean was young.
It was obvious that he was not yet 30 years old.
She then asked, "Do you have a girlfriend? Are you married?"
Sean hesitated a little before replying, "Not yet..."
