Chapter 2540
At today’s match, there was bound to be someone sneakily recording the whole thing. By
the time it hits the web, it’ll stir up another storm.
If Ivy won, it would be all good. But if she lost, her reputation was going to take a hit. Ms.
Madison was worried sick, but the person at the center of it all seemed blissfully
unaware.
“Go, Ophelia!”
The girls from before were all cheering Ophelia on, and she couldn’t help but lift her chin
in pride.
“If
you throw in the towel now, at least you can keep your dignity. Once the contest starts,
there won’t be any mercy,” she said.
Ivy said with a nonchalant smile, “Who wins and who loses is still up in the air. You sure
you’re going to beat me?”
Ophelia leaned in close and hissed in Ivy’s ear, “I might not win against you when it comes

man, I’ll snatch them both from you, just you wait.”
Even though Ivy’s facial expression didn’t fluctuate much, Ms. Madison could tell she was
ticked off.
Even her usual warm and inviting smile had a sharp edge to it now. “Really? Bring it on,
then. I just hope you don’t lose too badly.”
Ivy’s smirk was ice-cold as she once again realized she had been too soft, allowing people
to walk all over her.
With neither willing to back down, Ms. Madison decided to let the competition proceed,
grabbing a Bluetooth speaker and placing it between the two.
“Alright, if we’re doing this, let’s make it official. I’ll start with the routine you both learned
last week and after that, how about two minutes of freestyle? Sound good?”
A learned routine followed by two minutes to really show their stuff would let everyone
see their true skill level. Ivy had no objections, and naturally, Ophelia wasn’t going to
argue:
“Let’s hope your boyfriend still wants to pick you up after this,” Ivy threw the taunt back at
her.
“You should save that advice for yourself.”
“Three, two, one-hit it!”
As the music started, Ophelia burst into the choreography they had learned the previous

week, her movements sharp and memorized. Even their instructor had praised her quick
learning. She was sure this was her win.
Both dancers faced their classmates, unable to see each other’s performance.
Once Ivy lost herself in the rhythm, she forgot about everything else and became one with
the dance.
Silence fell over the crowd. No commentary was needed; they could all see who was
dancing better.
If Ophelia was dancing well, Ivy was embodying the music itself.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmIt was as if she was wholeheartedly expressing the music, not just dancing to it.
Was this what true talent looked like?
Many spectators couldn’t help but wonder.
As the dance ended, Ophelia hadn’t missed a single beat and looked smugly at lvy, only to
find that Ivy hadn’t even broken a sweat.
Her breath was steady, a clear sign of her rigorous training. It turned out she wasn’t just
all talk.
Usually, they could chalk it up to talent, but physical endurance was different.
Endurance was built up bit by bit, ensuring that during a performance, fatigue wouldn’t
set
in as quickly.
“So, who won, Ms. Madison? It should be pretty clear, right?”
Up until now, Ophelia was utterly convinced she had won.
