Chapter 1559 Not Considered a Third Wheel
Ian had a neutral expression and he hesitated slightly before taking a seat at one side of the couch. “We were
talking about work.”
Yulia was the one who called him today and mentioned that she wanted to talk to him about the photoshoot of the
magazine cover.
Actually, he didn’t care much about the issue with the magazine and she could have liaised with the company
instead.
However, she had mentioned something else. She knew that he was currently with Aurora and promised to pull
some strings to introduce Aurora under the limelight.
Furthermore, Yulia had also mentioned that she had met up with a few friends lately and they had a few budget
productions in the making. There were some roles with plenty of screen time, so if Aurora was keen, Yulia could
recommend her for it.
It was evident that Aurora was more than happy about such news. As such, Ian immediately brought her along to
meet Yulia.
Yulia was indeed quite well-connected and resourceful. However, he realized that she was being modest when she

were quite popular within the industry as well. Therefore, even if they weren’t blockbuster movies, the productions
were definitely not budgeted either.
Ian could tell that Yulia was intent on lending a helping hand, which was why he stayed for quite some time to talk
to her. Furthermore, the vibe at that time was also rather pleasant.
Unexpectedly though, someone had managed to take advantage of the situation.
He had already informed Yulia when he was back at the company, but she had no idea on the identity of the
mastermind either.
To be frank, she didn’t have a good reputation in the industry. Despite her successful collaborations with a lot of
well-known celebrities, most of them didn’t have a great impression of her.
Therefore, it was also quite likely that someone was targeting her to besmirch her reputation.
As a result, everything was in a mess and there were way too many people who could be the suspect, which made
it arduous to pinpoint anyone.
Cindy finally dished out the food she had prepared and she beckoned for Naomi and Ian a short while later. “Come
on over. Dinner’s ready.”
At this moment, there was an awkward vibe at the dining table. Ian and Cindy both maintained their silence while
Naomi was the only one who couldn’t stop complaining.
She complained about those unscrupulous social media accounts that were paid to post negative comments. At the
same time, she expressed bee displeasure toward Yulia too.
Cindy could tell that Naomi was intentionally criticizing Yulia in front of him.
Although Naomi knew that there was nothing between Ian and Yulia, she would have been rather concerned either
way, which was why she intentionally used this incident to warn him.
Nonetheless, it made Cindy awkward. After all, she wasn’t in an actual relationship with him, so he shouldn’t even
be subjected to Naomi’s impertinent words.
As they were having dinner, the doorbell suddenly sounded. Cindy was quite sure that she knew who was at the
door, so she hurried off to open it. Sure enough, it was Aurora standing at the front door.
Aurora looked quite distressed, which tempted Cindy to laugh. After the incident occurred, Cindy seemed to be the
only one behaving normally while those around her reacted quite strongly. It was like the people around her were
the ones being dragged into the center of the problem.
She invited Aurora into the house and asked, “Have you had dinner? We’ve just started our meal, so why don’t you
join us for a bite?”
Meanwhile, Aurora changed into a pair of bedroom flip-flops and brushed off Cindy’s invitation. “I’m not hungry. I'm

Cindy was aware of the reason for Aurora’s anger, so she comforted, “It’s fine. The truth will always prevail.”
Naomi also voiced her support. “Yes! A third wheel will never have a position in the relationship. Besides, she’s not
even considered a third wheel, so there’s nothing to worry about.”
Aurora made her way to the dining table and pulled up a chair to join them. Then, she plopped herself onto the
chair with a sigh. “Today’s incident is all my fault. If it wasn’t because of me, things wouldn’t have ended up in such
a state. Yulia was just being kind, but it was quite unexpected that someone would take advantage of us.”
At this moment, Naomi instantly responded by the side, “Don’t exonerate her just yet. There’s a chance that she
could be the target of the mastermind all along. Ian might have been the collateral damage.”
A surprised Aurora turned to Naomi. “That can’t be possible, right?”
Aurora wasn’t extremely familiar with Yulia and had never heard of her before their meeting today. During their
meetup, Yulia was rather cordial and had even contacted a few producers on Aurora’s behalf. Therefore, it gave
Aurora a rather good impression of her.
Meanwhile, Naomi revealed a cold smile before replying, “In the entertainment industry, she’s well-known to be
invincible. I’ve read the articles written about her and nine out of ten of them have commented on her bad
personality. I don’t know how true that is, but from the looks of it, she must have offended plenty of people.”
