There was no one outside the door, Evan was already gone.
Wayne was pretty happy about that.
He subconsciously glanced at Rosalynn.

“I thought he had more determination,” Wayne mocked.

“Sorry! Our kids were playing and didn’t see you!” The children’s parent immediately apologized.

Rosalynn said gently, “You need to be more careful in the future. If you really hurt someone, your
parents will be in big trouble!”
“We know…” The two children pouted in reply.
