Holding onto Gerald’s arm, Noelle then fixed her hair with a smile before nodding at Gerald as she said, “…T-thank
you…”
When it came to impressing someone, nothing could surpass saving one’s life. While Noelle had previously hated
Gerald, she now felt a bit more affectionate to him instead.
Regardless, both the victims were asked a few questions from the police before they were allowed to leave and get
some rest.
Since Aiden and the others were still busy with quite a bit of things, Gerald didn’t ask him to accompany him back.
Instead, Gerald chose to send the two girls back to campus himself. This time, Noelle didn’t turn down Gerald’s
offer. In fact, she accepted his invitation with great pleasure.
