After some praising words and congratulating the winners he then brought them to the resting building for the winners

Other than Mage Opiol Farhold everyone did not stay on the building

Shadowslash nodded his head and thought ‘As expected the rest of the gang won easily’

‘The last round of the first stage of the tournament would be tomorrow’

‘What was unexpected was the amount of gold I obtained from the betting stand and the food sold during the fight’

‘Also I never thought I would enjoy watching some of the fights I can’t wait for the second stage of the tournament to commence’

The next day the last battles of the first stage of the tournament commenced

Since there were only 10 battles left Shadowslash decided to host it in the first arena only of course considering the amount of viewers it will cramped but since the arena is big and the tournament only need to accommodate only some of the populace of the city it would still manage somehow

The first fight commenced the battle was somewhat amazing there were 3 possible winners Participant Number 205 a grumpy looking old man who was skilled in using a saber

Participant Number 207 A handsome man who was wielding two swords and finally Participant Number 210 a berserker with a large axe

After a couple of minutes gone by the first one to lose was the berserker

Once he went berserk Participant Number 205 and Participant Number 207 worked together to bring him down

The only participants left was the two of them so they went all out intending to finish off one another

Shadowslash’s clone manage to intervene just the right time as the saber was descending towards Participant Number 207 neck

The winner of the first round was Participant Number 205 Slitch

The next round it was not interesting since the fighters were only average the winner was a little girl who was amazing at using a whip

The following matches were amazing each one of them had a powerhouse

The third match the winner was a beastmaster called Pedro he manage to defeat a necromancer that manage to summon a Death Knight and multiple low level zombies and skeletons all by himself

His beast form was an elephant a Golden Armored Elephant to be precise this type of beast spirit was hard to cultivate since it was a Pseudo Legendary Grade monster which have a strength that could match some of the Legendary Grade monsters

The fourth match the winner was one of the Necromancer Association this person was both a necromancer and a Dark Knight he easily beat down all of his enemies

The fifth match the winner was an average fighter that was good in using nunchaku

The sixth match the winner was a very charming lady she was good in using illusion magic

The seventh match the winner was a viscount noble

The eight match the winner was a mage that was adept in using fire magic

The ninth match the winner was a Demi-human a lion Demi-human to be precise

The last match was won by Sans all of the 10 matches were finished and just like the first two Shadowslash calls all of the participants to congratulate them

After congratulating them Shadowslash then announced that the second stage of the tournament would commence tomorrow and it would be on one on one match the sequence of fights would be random since he would be using a raffle

The viewers was very excited for the next battle since it would be a battle between experts so it would definitely exciting

The next day everyone was quite excited as they went to the first arena

Shadowslash was already there besides him were his friends and family there was also a raffle machine next to them

Shadowslash stand up he nodded at the servant that was holding the machine after rotating it Shadowslash took 10 papers from it

“The first match Participant Number 76 Emil Morz Esmindipus vs. Participant Number 432 Tamer Patrick”

Everyone let out a gasp as they started cheering loudly to think that the first fight would be between two tamers

The two of them step into the ring before summoning their respective monsters

Patrick’s monsters were Rock Bear (Silver Lvl 4) (Excellent Grade) (Earth and Strength Type) and Black Eagle (Silver Lvl 2) (Rare Grade) (Wind Type)

Comparing the two monsters from Emil Morz Esmindipus’s monsters it was quite lacking

Purple Haze Lion (Silver Lvl 6) (Excellent Grade) (Fire and Poison Type)

Iron Scaled Lizard (Silver Lvl 5) (Rare Grade) (Metal and Strength Type)

What made the fighting field much more equal is that Patrick was a hunter unlike Emil Morz Esmindipus who only knew how to hide behind his monsters Patrick was much more better also he had experience in dealing against monster

Even though the Rock Bear might not be as powerful as the Purple Haze Lion it could still tie it down for a while

For the Iron Scaled Lizard Patrick decided that he would be the one responsible on tying it down while his Black Eagle would be responsible in finishing Emil Morz Esmindipus

Even though he already made a plan on his mind the situation in reality differs

The Purple Haze Lion charged towards him while the Iron Scaled Lizard was the one who charged at the Rock Bear

Upon seeing this Patrick’s expression changed as he hurriedly order his Black Eagle to finish off Emil immediately

The Rock Bear tried to help its master but it was being blocked by the Iron Scaled Lizard all the time and it is not that easy to defeat such a tough thing since both of them are great with defence

With the Black Eagle’s speed it manage to reached Emil immediately it dove down from above intending to finish off Emil

*Bam* A powerful fist met the Black Eagle’s attack

The Black Eagle flew to the opposite direction it seems that its beak was broken

“Iggsy!” Patrick anxiously shouted seeing his Black Eagle in such a dire situation

The thing that threw the fist was a puppet but this thing is not an ordinary puppet but a combat puppet

This kind of thing was supposed to be banned in the tournament since it used Mana Stone not the Mana of its user but this particular puppet do not have any Mana Stone embedded on it and to operate it the user needed to expend his own Mana

*Roar* The Rock Bear was angered upon seeing its injured comrade and the sight of Patrick being toyed around by the Purple Haze Lion

It sent a powerful blow towards the Iron Scaled Lizard but it only caused some damage but not to the point that it manage to defeat it

Shadowslash shook his head he already knew what would be the result

The Purple Haze Lion have already poisoned Patrick and he loses much more energy than usual actually he was now breathing haggardly

Just like he thought Patrick was defeated actually the Purple Haze Lion was only playing with him if it needed to end the battle immediately it could

The first winner of the tournament was Participant Number 76 Viscount Emil Morz Esmindipus

Everyone couldn’t help but lament and thought that Patrick would win if it weren’t for the Combat Puppet

Of course some of the viewers knew that Emil was only playing with Patrick considering the strength of his monsters they could immediately overwhelmed the Rock Bear if they wanted

Shadowslash then took two papers on his hand then read the names on it his eyebrow twitched a little since the name written on the paper was Sans and Don Don

He then announced to the audience the fighters of the second round “Participant Number 7 Flib vs. Participant Number 500 Sans”
