These blade cultivators had now accepted the fact that Austin was the ruler of the Blade Cosmos.

There were two reasons for that. Firstly, it was Donovan's order that Austin be recognized as their leader. And secondly, they were

highly impressed by this young man's blade skills.

Furthermore, the Blade Cosmos was finally at peace now because Austin's rule had brought with it, an end to their invasion of

other supruniverses, which had been going on for a couple of years now.

With peace and sanity restored, the Blade Cosmos was beginning to flourish. All the races and sects were developing gradually.

One day, Austin was walking around the Blade Cosmos when several governing gods made their way towards him.

"Master Austin," they greeted him, bowing respectfully.

All cultivators of the Blade Cosmos were aware that Austin was superior to them in terms of blade skills.

Therefore, they behaved humbly in front of him and didn't dare to show any disrespect.

"Good, you are here." Austin nodded. "I needed to tell you something. From now on, you will be deciding the course of the Blade

Cosmos.

I'll chere from tto time, but you must take charge behind me.

And remember. Let this cosmos develop freely. Don't get too involved in the affairs of the forces,"

he told them flatly.

"Sir, well..."

The governing gods were surprised and confused.

Austin was asking them to take charge of the entire Blade Cosmos,

which was a huge deal and they were at a loss for how to respond.

When Donovan had been their ruler, he had made all the calls concerning the affairs of the Blade Cosmos himself.

Everyone was forced to follow his order.

For so long had this system been in place that they'd thought Austin would do the sthing as well.

"lI am not going to meddle in the affairs of the Blade Cosmos

unless your survival depends on it.

The Blade Cosmos is under your control. Am | clear?"

Austin said.

The governing gods took a deep breath to suppress their excitement.

"Yes sir! Thank you for your trust!"

they answered in unison.

Austin's words clearly meant that these governing gods would be in charge of the Blade Cosmos.

It was unlikely for the Blade Cosmos to face a cataclysmic crisis anytsoon. For the next several eras, they were safe so going

by his own words, Austin would almost never be involved in the affairs of the Blade Cosmos.

He had essentially given them the power to rule the Blade Cosmos.

However, the governing gods were aware of their place.

They knew that Austin would always be the true ruler of the Blade Cosmos,

and no one could take his place.

"Sir, we have troops stationed in both the Dragon Cosmos and the Fiend Cosmos.

Half of the territory of these two supruniverses has already fallen into our hands.

What are your orders to deal with them?"

one of the governing gods asked, drawing closer to Austin.

"Oh?

Your troops are still in those supruniverses? You haven't summoned them back?"

Austin seemed greatly surprised.

It had been two years since the Blade Cosmos had fallen under the Sword Cosmos' control.

And yet, the troops which the former had sent to other supruniverses were still out there.

"Yes sir. SuprGrandmaster Donovan sent those troops to those supruniverses himself.

They didn't dare cback here without permission.

Even though our cosmos was at stake during the past two years, our suprgrandmaster never made an appearance. Therefore,

the leaders of the two armies didn't have the courage to cback.

Only a few masters from those armies took the risk of coming back to help fight against the enemy,"

the governing god replied.

"I see,"

Austin responded with a nod.

"Sir, now that our problems have been solved and the cosmos is safe, do you think we should send more troops to the Dragon

Cosmos and the Fiend Cosmos?

I am certain we can take those universes if we send a few more men there,"

another governing god said.

"Mmm. | want to go visit these two supruniverses first.

You can cwith me,"

Austin replied after he thought for a while.

"Yes, sir!"

the governing gods answered immediately.

"Great. We'll go to the Dragon Cosmos first.

Lead the way,"

Austin said.

The governing gods took him to a cross-border teleportation array situated in one of the corners of the Blade Cosmos.

The teleportation array had been set up by Donovan himself.

Only experts like him could have made such brilliant and powerful cross-border teleportation arrays.

However, Donovan was old news now.

Austin was even more capable than him and could make more powerful arrays than Donovan.

This was because his blade skills and spiritual soul power were stronger compared to Donovan. These were both essential skills for

making arrays and therefore, Austin was better than Donovan in building arrays.

"Sir, this teleportation array leads to the Dragon Cosmos,"

a governing god informed him respectfully.

"Let's go."

With that, Austin walked into the array with the governing gods following suit.

The array was activated immediately and

just a moment later,

Austin found himself in a brand-new supruniverse.

Looking around, he sensed that it was slightly bigger than the Sword Cosmos.

Just as he'd been told, half of its territory was occupied by the troops of the Blade Cosmos. This was evident from the blade

radiance that could be seen soaring into the sky from various parts of the cosmos.

It looked like the troops of the Blade Cosmos had the upper hand.

"Sir, let's go to our base camp in this cosmos,"

a governing god proposed.

"Alright. Takethere."

Austin nodded in agreement.

The group reached their destination soon.

"Ask your commander to cout,"

one of the governing gods who was with Austin shouted at the soldiers standing guard as they approached the camp.

The guards were terrified at their sight since this was the first tthey had seen so many governing gods. One of them hurriedly

ran into the headquarters to report this to their superiors.

Pretty soon, about a dozen governing gods cout.

"Hey you guys. | thought you were supposed to stay in the Blade Cosmos. What happened?

| heard that our homeland was taken over by troops of the Sword Cosmos and a brat called Austin has becthe ruler. Are you

here to seek refuge?"

one of the newcomers loudly asked.

"How dare you disrespect Master Austin, Broderick? Do you have a death wish?"

"You're way too cocky, Broderick. It is SuprGrandmaster Donovan who announced that he has chosen Austin as the new ruler

of our cosmos.

Do you dare challenge our suprgrandmaster's authority?"

The governing gods who had arrived here with Austin becfurious.
