"Austin, what you said is true," Armstrong said, nodding at Austin with newfound respect in his eyes.
It was not until now that he completely believed Austin's words.
"Damn it! How could this be?
You are just a remnant of the reincarnation race, and a level one governing god at that. You should be as weak as an ant! How can
you command and control the creatures in this world like this?
What the hell is going on?"
Tate roared disbelievingly at Austin. He simply couldn't digest what he was seeing.
Until now, he had looked down on Austin for his stature, but now, he was a little afraid of him.
It seemed that there was a lot more to Austin than he had originally thought.
"What else do you have to say, Tate?"
Armstrong sneered, turning his gaze to Tate.
"Humph!
Do you really think you can kill me?
In your dreams!"
Tate snorted coldly, unwilling to surrender to the two of them.
Boom!
Without warning, he attacked first and threw a punch at Armstrong.
The truth was, he had never taken Armstrong seriously. He had always thought that he was much stronger than the latter, and had
only approached him because he wanted to make use of him.
It had all started when he had overheard Armstrong saying that he knew two successors of the reincarnation race.
Upon hearing that, he had immediately cup with a plan and deceived Armstrong all the way until he had succeeded in luring
him into the Heavenly Fire Land. Then, by using Armstrong, he had lured Austin here, too.
Since Armstrong was nothing but a pawn to him,
there was no way he would ever bow down to him.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThen again, Austin shouted, "Kill!"
At his summon, a large army of creatures in this world rushed towards Tate like they were zooming towards a magnet.
These creatures were meant to overwhelm him, even at the cost of their own lives.
All of a sudden, Tate found himself submerged in the vast sea of creatures with no way to move.
It was impossible for him to deal Armstrong another blow.
"Tate, go to hell!"
Armstrong roared with a ferocious expression on his face.
Tate's sudden attack had completely infuriated him.
If Tate had admitted defeat and begged him for mercy, perhaps he would have shown mercy and let him go for the sake of their
having explored the Absolute Space Sea together.
But he had never expected that in this situation, Tate would attack him first.
Moreover, he had finally understood that Tate had never regarded him as a real friend.
More than anything, this fact enraged him.
Boom...
Burning with anger, Armstrong took out his halberd and slashed at Tate.
He had obtained this mighty weapon during his adventures in the Absolute Space Sea.
Boom! Boom! Boom...
Emitting bright divine radiance and carrying terrifying energy, the halberd swung towards Tate.
"Armstrong, do you think | will be afraid of you?"
Tate roared.
Then,
he threw a punch towards the halberd.
"Kill!" Austin shouted again, casually watching the battle.
The creatures surrounding Tate turned like the tide and continued to attack him.
At the stime, another group of creatures rushed in front of Armstrong and blocked Tate's fist from making contact with him.
This way, they successfully fended off Tate's attack.
Needless to say, these creatures were completely under Austin's control.
Austin refused to allow Tate to so much as lay a finger on Armstrong.
"Damn it!
How are you so powerful?"
Tate roared in disbelief. He still couldn't accept what was happening in front of his eyes.
Bang!
While he didn't manage to land a punch on Armstrong, Armstrong's halberd succeeded in making contact with his flesh.
Puff!
The part of his body that the halberd touched exploded on the spot.
"Ah!"
Tate screamed in a mixture of pain and fear.
"Do you regret it now, Tate?
If you dare to trick me, you have to pay the price!"
Armstrong roared.
The first attack had only been the beginning. He continued to strike, each move making earthshattering contact with Tate's body.
Since he had no chance to fight back,
Tate just kept screaming his head off.
Soon, after repeatedly being attacked, his entire body exploded.
However, as a governing god, he could not die so easily.
He immediately reorganized his physical body and stood in front of them.
"Tate, you must die today!"
Armstrong charged at him and began a new round of attacks.
Besieged by a large number of creatures, Tate had no chance to resist. He just stood there as Armstrong attacked him, almost
wishing that he didn't have a physical body to feel pain. His body was broken again and again, and he screamed incessantly.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAt the stime, the creatures of darkness were also besieged by Austin's army of creatures, so there was no chance for them to
help Tate.
Finally, after his body had been shattered dozens of times by Armstrong, Tate began to feel that he couldn't hold on any longer.
He had suffered a great loss.
He knew that if it went on like this, he would perish here.
"No!
Armstrong, | know | was wrong!
| shouldn't have lied to you!
Please letgo!"
Tate cried miserably, begging for mercy on his knees.
"Armstrong, please spare my life for the sake of our friendship!"
he added.
Upon hearing this last sentence, Armstrong let out a cruel laugh. "Ha, it's too late.
I've finally seen your true colors.
Right from the start, you never tookseriously.
In your eyes, | was always just a pathetic person you could easily fool, wasn't I?
| will definitely kill you today!"
At this time, Armstrong was brimming with murderous intent. He had no plans of letting Tate go.
Once upon a time, he had been the ruler of a space sea, a powerful figure to respect and fear.
Even though he was now on his own, how could he let others deceive him like this?
He couldn't swallow the shat all.
"Go to hell!"
With one last shout,
he kept attacking Tate.
