Chapter 1079
Looking at Theo's sullen face, | took a deep breath and continued without mercy, "We were legally married
before this, and I'll receive assets after we divorce. | won't take a cent and transfer the company under my name
to yours. | don't want anything from the Grants and just want us to have nothing to do with each other from now
on. I'll pay for your clothes, but don't expectto pay for emotional damages.”
| wrapped the blanket around my body after saying that and planned to get out of bed to leave.
| did not care if | had to leave the hotel like that. I did not want to stay here one more second.
Just as | was about to get to the room door, Theo rushed over and embraced me.
He then pickedup and tossedback o n the bed.
The anger and fury that he had been suppressing within him for a long tsuddenly erupted. Ignoring my
resistance i n the slightest, he pressed down onfirmly.

"Get off!" | started to fight back.
Theo looked atwith a frosty gaze. "Who do you think | am, Wanda Lane? Someone you can ask to cand
go as you please? Am | still a person who has emotions to you? You're only treatinglike this because | love
you. Do you think life would be so easy for you if it weren't for the fact that | love you?"
Feeling pain, | frowned hard and roared angrily "You're a bastard, Theo!"
"Am | really a bastard?” Theo panted heavily and said in a hoarse voice, "You leftwithout saying anything.
You take it upon yourself to pushto somebody else again and again. You always say that you want to get rid
of me. Is our marriage a joke to you?"
Unable to stand the pain and feeling like | was being wronged, | cried uncontrollably." I'll sue you, Theo. | must
divorce you.
"You can tellstraight up if you want to destroy me. Why use your love foras a cover? You have all the
ladies out there at your fingertips. You're only pesteringbecause you're not happy that I'm the one who took
the initiative to push you away. If | turn into Cindy one day and only have eyes for you, you'll surely get tired of

| cried while | spoke. I finally sobbed uncontrollably.
Theo suddenly stopped, his eyes as deep as the sea. They were so dark it was impossible to reach the bottom.
"So you think I've been searching painstakingly for you, so carefully approaching you, and not wanting to let you
go simply because I'm unhappy that you pushedaway first?”
Silence was the answer.
Theo smiled, though the smile was as bitter as it could be.
Seeing the hurt in his eyes, I tilted my head to the side and chose to turn a blind eye.
"Look at me!" Theo pinched my chin and forcedto face the issue head-on. "If those words are sincere, then
why are you hiding? Why don't you just tellthe truth?"

He sneered at my silence. "Looks like you didn't mean it, then."
"What exactly do you want, Theo Grant?"
| broke down completely. "Do you really not know why I'm pushing you away? | can't conceive anymore and it’s
all because of you. I'm a woman who yearns to be loved b y my parents too. I've long been envious of other girls
who can ride on their fathers' backs and be cared for by their mothers since | was a kid. But you've ruined
everything.”
Theo froze, his complexion gradually turning pale.
"You clearly know why I'm pushing you away, yet you're still playing dumb with m e.”
My vision turned blurry from the tears. "I admit that I love you, but | can't choose to forgive you for certain things
just because | love you and pretend like they didn't happen. | could've had the ability to give birth like other
women but it's because of your selfishness that I've lost the qualification to be a mother. Not only that, | can’t
face my own parents either. How do you suppose | forgive you?”
Theo's eyes were filled with hurt and pain." | didn't mean to do hurtful things to you." "You didn't mean to, ©
indeed."
