The room fell silent. It was so quiet one could hear a pin drop.
The White Tiger King's face was flushed. However, he managed to snap back to his senses quickly enough. He turned to
smile at the Black Tortoise King. "I can't believe what has happened either, Your Majesty. Please calm down!'
The White Tiger King would have never shown the Black Tortoise King such grace and respect. Yet he had no choice but to
do that for the sake of the Demon tribe. He had had to put his pride down for the time being.
Mona had been in the wrong, after all.
The Black Tortoise King paid no mind to the White Tiger King. His gaze was pointed straight at Mona like a razor-sharp
sword.
Mona was not afraid at all. Instead, she looked utterly unaffected. "Where's your son? How would I know? He's been
banished from the Demon tribe. Why would you look for him here? Why ask me?"
Mona's tone and demeanor filled the Black Tortoise King with unspeakable rage as he roared, "Very well! You seem awfully
headstrong after committing such a heinous, cruel act. You followed him out of here and cut off his legs on a mountain

The Black Tortoise King was livid as he spoke. He was boiling with rage.
Mona had no regard for rules or respect at all. She was arrogant and insolent. She had
wounded his son and still pretended as if nothing had happened.

right. I cut off Oliver's legs. He tried to take advantage of my sister. I had enough grace to

The White Tiger King was at his wit's end as well.
"All I did was cut off Oliver's legs. I left with the warriors after that. How would I know
where he went?" Mona pursed her lips, speaking lightly as if she had no care in the world.

mockingly, "Your Majesty, there's no use shouting at me the way you are right now. You
should search for him while you have time-you might be lucky enough to find him if you
hurry. Else, you might not even be able to find his bones."

The Black Tortoise King flew into a rage. He soared forward like a ghost and landed a palm attack on Mona's chest.
The blow held all of the Black Tortoise King's strength, and it was as fast as thunder. It constricted the air it cut through with
terrifying force.
When she sensed the power, Mona lost her courage instantly as she trembled and her face paled. She moved to duck, yet
the Black Tortoise King had her frozen in place with his energy. Her legs trembled; there was no escape for her.
"Don't hurt my sister."
Leia's face changed as she cried out. She rushed forward to protect Mona from the blow, but her body had not recovered,
and she was still too weak to do anything.
As Mona was about to die at the hands of the Black Tortoise King, a figure rushed forward right before the blow could land
on Mona. He stood in front of her and raised his hand to meet the Black Tortoise King's palm.
