because when you do that, the pill will work even faster." 1
Darryl's face turned cold.
Miguel's face changed; he gasped for air. "You! What do you want?"
Darryl smiled. "It's simple. Tell me where's the secret escape route in the Blazing Sun
Gate, and give me your token. As long as I can safely leave the Blazing Sun Gate, I'll get
someone to send the antidote to you."
'What?' Miguel was shocked. Then, he looked at Morticia.
'He wants to escort that Fiend Martyr?'
'All the soldiers in the Blazing Sun Gate are hunting that Fiend Martyr. They'll come for me
if they find out that I let her go.
"Why?" Darryl's face changed at his hesitation. "You want to die of poison?"
"I'll tell you! I'll tell you!" Miguel's body trembled as he quickly nodded. Even though he
was unwilling, he did not dare to disobey Darryl.
'After all, my life is in his hands.'

For the next two minutes, Miguel talked about the secret escape route in the Blazing Sun
Gate. After that, he passed his token to Darryl.

changed.

heart throbbed.
