Chapter 1301 Alec Might Not Want You Anymore
At 10 pm, Jenny and company arrived at an eatery for kebabs and beer.
Due to what had happened earlier, everyone had a heavy heart. Fortunately, nothing
happened in the end. If something did, Jenny couldn't imagine how Zack would live.
"I'm sorry, Jenny," Janet said, looking at Jenny.
Sighing, Jenny waved her apology away. "Just promise me you'll be well and healthy. Don't
do it again. Even if you have no regard for yourself, please think about my brother. Don't
you know how much he loves you?"
Janet blushed, feeling both guilty and embarrassed. "It won't happen in the future." Since
her parents had been dealt with, she wouldn't do anything stupid again, even if Jenny had
not made her promise to do so.
"Hurry up and dig in. The kebabs here are delicious." Zack beckoned them to eat, feeling

glass.
Just as Jenny was about to stop him, Janet stopped him first. "You're still recovering, so you
can't drink."
"Can't I drink a little?" Zack asked.
Jenny shook her head. "Of course not. What are you talking about?"
Immediately, Janet grabbed the cup from him and shouted at the waiter. ’ Hi, can we have
a glass of juice over here?"
Just like that, Zack ended up drinking juice while Jenny and the others drank beer.
"Jenny, is Gilbert mad at me?" Zack was a little worried. While he knew that Gilbert had
always wanted him to break up with Janet, he really couldn't do it.
Jenny was conflicted when she heard that. "Don't worry," she said. "He isn't mad at you. I
will talk to him later, so don't worry."
Zack nodded and fell silent.
Halfway through their meal, Janet mustered the courage to ask, "Zack, you asked me if I
would like to marry you. Were you serious about it?"
"Of course!" Zack nodded. A little stunned, he asked, "Why are you asking that?"
"Well, I—"
Before Janet could say anything, Jenny nudged Zack. "What are you doing? Propose to her
now!"
Zack quickly got to his senses, knelt on one knee, and produced a ring from his bag.
Fortunately, he had it with him all the time.
"Janet, will you marry me?" Zack asked.
This time, Janet didn't refuse.
"Yes," she replied with a smile, and Zack put the ring on her finger.
Everyone applauded her. In Janet's opinion, it was the bravest thing she had done.

Seeing that Zack's marriage proposal was successful, Jenny was elated." Congratulations
on proposing, but you can't hold the wedding ahead of mine with Alec. We have fixed a
date," she said.
"Don't worry. I'm not in a hurry." He hadn't prepared anything yet.
"Not in a hurry?" Jenny raised her eyebrows. "Then why did you propose?"
"Jenny, watch your tongue. If you keep this up, Alec might not want you anymore," Zack
said, giving her a look.
Alec, who had been silently eating, smiled nonchalantly and said, "Don't worry. No matter
how she is, I will always want her."
Zack and Janet's jaws dropped as they didn't expect Alec to be so smooth and romantic.
Smiling triumphantly, Jenny took Alec's hand, "Hmph, this is my fiance, so you think you
can bully me."
Hearing that, everyone laughed, and the mood brightened.
