Chapter 626 Are You Sure You Want to Do This?
Jenny thought that she and Graham were early. However, James was already sitting in the
private booth.
"Mr. Walter." James got up from his chair and greeted Graham with a smile.
Though the Windsors and the Walters were not friends, they were still acquaintances.
James and Graham had greeted each other before. He didn't know that Jenny was his
daughter, so their conversations were usually brief. Now, it was different.
Graham was surprised to find James being so polite. Before, they had only nodded in
acknowledgment. "Mr. Windsor."
"Just call me James, Mr. Walter." James had a smile on his face, looking amicable. Graham
found this all very puzzling. However, he said nothing.
When they sat down, James handed the menu to Jenny. "You can choose whatever you

"Senior?" Graham was bewildered. Why hadn't he heard of this from Jenny before?
James was surprised, too. He didn't think that Jenny had never brought up their history to
Graham.
Jenny smiled dryly, saying, "James and I were Mr. Birkett's mentee."
She did not go into too much detail about it. It wasn't important.
It was then that Graham remembered. He remembered assigning Mr. Birkett to be her
mentor, but the old man had refused at the time. Why had he agreed to it later on?
"I've never seen you have a meal with James, even though you're so close." Graham was
also calling him James. After all, they were going to work together in the future. It was vital
for them to build trust in each other.
"He's so busy. He wouldn't have the time." Jenny brushed it off.
But James took it to heart. He smiled, saying, "I would. As long as you say the word, I'm
there."
Jenny was speechless.
"That would be great. Why don't you come to my house for a meal tomorrow?" Graham
wanted to build rapport with James. It was partly because of their future cooperation and
partly because of other reasons. He looked them both over, thinking that they were well-
suited for each other.
"That would be great," James said at once. He wanted to spend more time with Jenny.
Jenny was exasperated seeing them agree to it so readily. She coughed dryly, cutting
them off. "Dad, James, let's talk business before the dishes are served."
Graham grew serious. James was still in the dark. Jenny had invited him out, saying that
they had matters to discuss. However, she had not told him what exactly.
"What do you think of the Glasses, James?" Jenny said, getting straight to the point.

A mysterious look flashed through James' eyes. He seemed to have sensed something.
"They're alright. Weaker than the Walters but a powerful force in Bardoff City, especially in
real estate. They have the lion's share."
Each family in the Ten Elites had their own strongest industries. They would not be worthy
of their ranks otherwise.
"Well, are you interested in their power, James?" Jenny asked, smiling. She believed that
James would understand the meaning behind her words.
As expected, he understood. However, he fell into doubt. He looked at Graham and asked
uncertainly, "If I remember correctly, Mrs. Walter is part of the Glasses. Are you sure you
want to do this?"
He only directed his question toward Graham because he knew that Jenny and Rowena did
not have much of a relationship. In fact, they hated each other. Something like this would
have to depend on Graham's stance.
