Chapter 667 Shut Up
Graham took in what Jenny had said helplessly. She was blunt and unforgiving in her
words, even when the person she was speaking to was her father.
"I know you're angry, but Jolene is still my daughter at the end of the day. Even if she's in
the wrong, I can't just let her be." Graham smiled bitterly, thinking that he should at least
do what would be expected of a father in this situation.
Jenny looked solemn, as she was disappointed with Graham's decision. " This is Jolene's
own doing. If someone has to pay the price, why can't it be her? We're in a partnership
with the Windsors, but Jolene went ahead and did this. Do you want the partnership to fall
apart by helping her blindly?"
She was infuriated, thinking that Graham couldn't distinguish right from wrong. So what if
Jolene was his daughter? Should he tolerate her antics without a bottom line simply
because she was his daughter?

"I would never ever do something like this," Jenny interrupted. Even if she liked someone,
she wouldn't trap them.
While Graham believed that such a thing was beneath Jenny, unfortunately, the same
couldn't be said regarding Jolene. "Jenny, no matter what, I can't just turn a blind eye and
not help her."
Graham held onto the belief that he couldn't just leave Jolene to her own devices. It meant
that the Walters was destined to fall out with the Windsors because of Jolene's actions.
Jenny looked at him coldly. Previously, she believed he was a sensible and reasonable
person. Even though he was absent for her whole life and didn't raise her, she could still
forgive him and regard him as her father. But now, she knew he wasn't as good of a
person as she had made him out to be.
"Fine, do as you please." Jenny didn't feel like saying anything else, so she turned to leave.
She wouldn't stand on Jolene's side as Graham did. She would find James and devise a
way to get him out of this mess. She couldn't let Jolene succeed; otherwise, James' lifetime
happiness would be completely ruined.
Graham wanted to call out to her as she walked out, but ultimately, he didn't say
anything. "What have I done wrong to deserve this?"
When Graham arrived home, Jolene and Rowena were in the living room. As soon as they
saw him, they became tense, and their backs stiffened.
Graham didn't look at Jolene but instead turned to Rowena and asked, "Is this how you
raise your daughter?”
Rowena didn't say anything, so he took it as a silent agreement.
It was not Rowena's intention for Jolene to follow in her footsteps, but she couldn't do
anything as Jolene insisted. In addition, Graham was biased toward Jenny, so she had no
choice.
"After so many years, you haven’t changed at all. You're still as malicious as ever!"
Graham couldn't hold himself back from scolding her. If he had known it would come to

Rowena smirked and looked at Graham. "Graham, what's the point of taking your anger
out on me now? What we need to think about now is what to do next instead of wasting
energy scolding me.”
She knew Graham's character, despite his bias toward Jenny. He wouldn't just stand by
and do nothing, as Jolene was still his daughter. Hence, he would take their side in the
end.
"You're really..." Graham pointed at her but couldn't find the right words to curse at her.
Jolene cowered behind Rowena. Trembling like a leaf, she looked at Graham pitifully. "Dad,
I really like James. Can you help me? Just this once? ■
"Shut up!" Graham shouted in anger, feeling like hitting someone. "You like him, but does
he like you? Do you know that you’ll make him despise you from the bottom of his heart
by doing this?" "I don't care. As long as I can marry him, I don't care about anything else."
She didn't care what James thought of her. She would have plenty of time to win his heart
once he was bound to her.
