Chapter 698 Marriage in Name Only
When Rowena returned to Walter Castle, it was already 2 in the morning. She had just
walked into the living room and was about to quietly go back to her room when the lights
in the corridor were suddenly turned on.
She was startled and turned around to find that the person who had turned on the lights
was Jenny. Her heart raced uncontrollably faster. "Jenny, why aren't you asleep at this late
hour?”
"You're not asleep either, and you just came back so late. What were you doing, Rowena?"
Jenny smiled, and under the illumination of the lights, her eyes seemed to be glowing,
making Rowena feel like she had nowhere to hide.
Rowena tried to suppress the panic in her heart and said expressionlessly," I felt sad
because Jo moved out, so I went to talk to a friend."
"Oh, really?" Jenny smirked with a hint of sarcasm.
If it weren't for the fact that she had just received information from the person she sent to

Rowena didn't intend to continue talking to her. She couldn't shake off the feeling that
Jenny knew everything. Even though she knew it was impossible, it still made her panic.
"Go to bed early. You have work tomorrow."
After saying that, she went into her room, not caring what Jenny thought of her.
Jenny stood in the corridor for a while. She looked at Rowena's room, then shifted her gaze
to the room where Graham was staying. Since she returned to Walter Castle, she'd never
seen them stay in the same room. It seemed their marriage had long been reduced to one
in name only.
It didn't really affect her much, but she was concerned on behalf of her father. She
couldn't just let Rowena cheat on him and do nothing, right?
Thinking of this, she asked someone to investigate who Rowena had gone to meet that
night. Jenny had to get to the bottom of it.
The next day, when Jenny woke up, Rowena was already in the kitchen. A rare occurrence.
"Jenny, you're awake. Come and have breakfast." Seeing Jenny, Rowena waved at her.
At the dining table, Graham was already having breakfast. Jenny walked over and looked
at Rowena with suspicion. "It's the first time I've tasted food prepared by you after being
here for so long."
Rowena was too desperate. She'd just done something behind Graham's back, and now
she was trying to please him. Anyone would find her behavior abnormal.
The three of them sat together as they ate breakfast, and that was when Jolene returned.
From a distance, she looked at the three people at the dining table, and the atmosphere
around them seemed unusually harmonious.
Upon seeing that, she couldn't hold back anymore and burst into tears.

Rowena immediately stood up and walked over. Seeing Jolene crying so sadly, she felt her
heart aching. After all, Jolene was her own flesh and blood. So, she couldn't bear to see

"You don't want me to come back, do you? Did my return disrupt your little family of
three?" Jolene had suffered a lot at James' hand. Seeing them behaving like a real family
upon returning, Jolene couldn't take it.
Rowena glared at her and scolded, "Nonsense! Have you had breakfast? Let me make
some for you."
"I haven't eaten yet," Jolene said.
Rowena pulled her over to sit down and got up to make breakfast for her.
Now, only Jenny, Graham, and Jolene were at the table. The atmosphere became tense
with just the three of them.
Jolene glared at Jenny and still harbored lingering resentment against her. Then, her gaze
turned to Graham, and it became somewhat complicated." Dad."
Graham nodded without looking up at her.
"Dad, I've thought about it and realized you were right yesterday. I shouldn't have moved
in with James so early. So, I'm planning to move back in. Is that okay?" She was a bit
nervous. She really didn't want to stay with
James anymore. Who knew what awaited her in the future if she went back to his villa?
