Chapter 751 What If I Don't Want to?
"All we need to do now is send someone over to pull the plug," Wayne suggested. Jenny
wouldn't have her guard up now that she was unconscious. The only issue was how to get
close enough to her to land the killing blow.
Randy nodded. "I'm on it."
The Glasses were not the only ones having a hard time sleeping for the night. Jolene had
been equally disturbed upon hearing the news that Jenny was still alive.
She had heard of Jenny's accident only after she was hospitalized and prayed to
everything in existence that she'd just die. Such was the hatred Jolene had for her "sister."
It went without saying then that she wasn't in any good mood now that Jenny was out of
the danger zone. Especially when James had rushed to the hospital first thing after hearing
Jenny was in there. Even a blind person could tell how much he cared for her.

hurt that the man cared so much for Jenny.
Just as tears were streaming down her face, the sound of footsteps came from the door.
James was back.
"My.Js my sister alright?" Jolene asked, fearful of showing the hate she had for Jenny.
James said nothing, only sitting down on the couch. His face was dark and gloomy.
Jolene's heart skipped a beat. Why was James so upset? Did Jenny die?
After some brief overthinking, she asked tentatively once again, "Is my sister alright, Mr.
Windsor?"
The moment she asked the question, James glared at her and stormed over to her side. In
a flash, he wrapped a hand around her neck, tightening his grip.
"You just can't wait for something to happen to her, can you?" He hissed, eyes bloodshot.
Jolene quivered frightfully in his grasp.
"I-L.no-" Jolene wheezed out, clawing at her neck as her air supply was slowly cut off.
Unfortunately for her, James didn't care that she was about to pass out. He snarled, "No?
The Glasses were the ones behind this attack. You must've happily participated, too, no?"
Jolene was deeply offended. Neither her mother nor their family had informed her of their
decision to do this. In fact, they barely got in touch with her these days.
What pained Jolene the most was that he addressed her as part of the Glasses.
Had he already grouped her in his mind with those bunch of people?
But she...she was still a Walter.
Tears fell down her eyes and landed on James' hand. As if regaining his senses, he let go of
his grip around Jolene's neck.
Jolene gasped for air as she crumpled onto the floor, traumatized from her close brush to

After a moment, she murmured weakly, "You still like her...don't you?"
"Shut up!" James barked. "Go ask your mother who it was that sent this kill order. Now!"
"What if I don't want to?" Jolene gritted out. How could he assume she'd betray her
mother just like that?
James crouched to her eye level and sneered, "Then I'll send you packing back to Walter
Castle and call off the marriage. Well see if they still see you as their daughter then."
Jolene instantly paled.
Call off the marriage...
As terrified as she was of James, she wouldn't have anywhere else to go if he revoked their
marriage agreement.
"F-fine. I'll call her."
In the end, Jolene still surrendered. She didn't have a choice any longer.
