Chapter 0637 The happenings in Mr. Fisher's club seemed to be an open secret in Radiant City. Everyone knew but tacitly chose not to publicize it no one wanted to invite trouble.

Beth appeared unwilling to continue the topic as well. "Mrs. Hawk, who are you looking for?" "Yasmine. You probably know her. I believe she's with Leo." Beth's earlier tension seemed unnecessary.

Ever since I had Tabitha, I treasured my life more than anyone else. My only goal today was to take Yasmine away. I had no intention of doing anything else-Tabitha was waiting forat home.

Beth let out a small sigh of relief. "That's good. But I still need to call Mr. Hawk..." Before she could finish her sentence, we heard a loud crash from one of the private rooms ahead-a vase had been thrown out.

Amid the noise of the music, the sound of shouts of a man and a woman inside was faint but discernible. From the voices, it vaguely sounded like Yasmine and Leo.

I rushed forward, only to be stopped by a group of women. "Ma'am, this area is reserved for Mr. Leo. Please do not approach." I glanced toward the private room. Another plate was thrown, smashing against the wall and shattering into pieces on the ground.

Worried about Yasmine, I tried to pull my arm free, but the women thought I was about to get physical and shoved me. I stumbled back, barely saved from falling by Beth.

Already anxious about Yasmine, my temper flared. "Who do you think you are, daring to lay a hand on me?" Steadying myself, I slapped one of the women and pushed her into the others. Wearing high heels, they lost their balance, stumbling over each other and falling heavily to the ground.

"Mrs. Hawk, I'll hold them off. Go get your friend!" Beth said, her voice calm but firm.

I glanced back at her. Her expression was a mix of resignation and inevitability.

"Thank you," I said, then turned and ran toward the private room.

I also heard Beth coldly warning the women on the ground, "The woman who just went in is not someone you can afford to offend. She's also a friend of Mr. Leo. Just wait and see it won't be long before she comes out..." As I moved closer, I heard Yasmine's broken voice yelling from inside, "What right do you have to stopfrom coming here? I paid! I'm a guest here too! What gives you the authority to keepout?" Leo's stunning eyes were filled with exasperation. "Ms. Warren, with the little money you make, do you think you can chere as a customer?

"If it weren't forlaying the foundation, do you think your law firm would be doing so welf today? I N don't think you can even afford the membership fee-let alone coming here as a customer." "Let go of me! What I do is none of your business!" Yasmine struggled to break free from Leo's grip, her free hand clenched into a fist, pounding on his chest.

Leo sneered coldly, pressing her against the counter. The tall wine glasses were knocked to the floon shattering loudly: "Do you think I want to control you?" he said with mockery. "If you hadn't snuck downstairs, I wouldn't care! Do you even know what happens to those who sneak downstairs?"

He raised his right hand, shaping his fingers into a gun and pressing it against Yasmine's temple, faughing wildly. "Do you know what this is? A black-market gun. It's pretty powerful!" He flicked his wrist. "Bang!" "Just like that-boom! Pieces flying everywhere. White bits, red bits, splattered all over the place!"
