A burst of anger so intense, that he thought he would explode filled Noah's very existence. His anger threatened to overflow before that cruel scene of maltreatment, but he controlled it.
Nevertheless, sparks appeared around his figure alerting the men and women committing that atrocity.
Even the person that had led him there tried to flee, but Noah wasn't having any of that.
His consciousness unfolded in an instant and before any of them knew it, their figures crashed into the ground unwillingly.
Noah's eyes were cold, but he knew he couldn't kill any of them just yet. Nevertheless, he exerted enough force to make sure that their faces caused cracks to spread on the street.
Blood flowed out of the faces of his victims as he shattered their noses, but he had left the children untouched by his anger.
"What is the meaning of this?!" His voice boomed forth causing the temperature to rise as sparks continued to accumulate around his figure even spreading to areas beyond the building.
The town's people were alerted, but those under the effects of his presence felt death hang over them.
None of the was at the peak of tier 2, and even tier 3's would find themselves unable to help themselves before him. They were more hopeless than ants.
Noah's pressure got more intense and muffled whimpers began to exit their figures a little more and their heads would explode into a shower of brain matter and blood.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHe could paint that street red if he so desired. And desired he did. But he couldn't take such action due to the higher authority present. At least he wouldn't until he was provoked to.
Not that the town's head was stronger than him, only that things could get troublesome for him now that he had seen his face.
The four teenagers raised their heads at some point and the scene that surrounded them sent shivers down their spines.
Noah caught sight of bleeding from all four of them and for reasons unknown to him he felt a heat rise within him that made his blood boil.
He wanted someone to pay for what had happened so he voiced a simple question.
Relieving them of his pressure he spoke before they could move.
"If any of you so much as raises your head, I promise that would be the last action you take in this life." His voice was stone cold and dripped with his fury. It even contained a daring tone, one that spoke of how willing he was to carry out his words.
No one moved even if they were in pain. Their bodies wouldn't even listen to them. Noah's presence overwhelmed their survival instincts. But he had told them a way not to end up dead. They would take it.
"Who started this?' Noah asked, his voice flat but his tone containing untold anger. "You have seven seconds to answer or you all die," he added, creating an air of panic and tension.
"The one responsible is to stand up slowly, or you all can point at the said person."
"Six," he announced.
No one moved. Not even a sound was made. Those watching from the edges of the street made sure to keep a safe distance. Some began to thank their stars that they had refrained from partaking in that activity, as it was already considered normal amongst them.
"Five."
"Four."
"Three."
Panic and fear merged to create the cake called horror. Its density was so great that it could be cut with a knife if one was available.
'Do they think I'm bluffing,' Noah considered inwardly as his mood plummeted. If only they how truly ruthless he could be. Especially in a place where he was the greater power.
"Two."
Immediately Noah's count reached that point, all hands except one pointed at a figure ironically at the center of the crowd. A woman. It had been so timely that it was as if they all agreed on when to reveal the person.
His eyes were cold from anger.
"Why didn't you stand on time," Noah spoke and his voice caused chills to run down everyone's spine, including the kids who had remained kneeling, watching the events play out.
"I.. I.. I..." The lady tried to speak but fear made her unable to express her thoughts. All her senses buzzed with danger. They were drunk in the feeling of terror.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmShe had long since begun to regret her actions, but they were normal there. What was wrong? She had to punish a bunch of filth for stepping foot in their regions.
"Give me a reason why I shouldn't do something rash?" He asked eager to show that his threats were not empty.
His words made the lady's eyes widen in fear and she suddenly regained her confidence, and with that event came a barrage of words that Noah only considered as disgusting.
"Why should they have come? It was their fault that they disobeyed the one silent rule held in this place! I should be thanked for suggesting their punishment! Filth like them shouldn't be allowed in our midst! They should go back to wherever hell-hole they crawled out from!..."
The lady razed like a mad woman. And truly she had become one. Even her eyes shone with a light of madness that seemed to run deep into her very soul.
Her frantic words continued to de-silence the streets as no one else was speaking except her. Her voice reached the ends of the street and everyone became somber.
Noah had enough of her however, when she asked a simple question. But in a defying, even mocking tone.
"What are you going to do about it? Not even our town's-" Noah did not let her finish her words, since five spears made of densely condensed air materialized around him before proceeding to impale the woman. Violently shutting her up.
The event made everyone watching jerk in fear and horror as though they had been the ones struck by the spells.
Before anyone knew it, a ball of yellow sparks containing Noah's full might at the peak of tier 3 floated towards the lady. Immediately it touched her, she burnt rapidly.
Noah contained the event in a thick ball of wind however, as she did not even have the chance to scream. Soon, her figure became less than ash which he blew away with his control over the wind.
In mere seconds a silence that seemed to fill the whole world unfolded before the stunned eyes of the onlookers.
Noah had literally wiped her out of existence without batting an eye. He had not even minded the fact that the teenagers were there. He had killed her in what could be considered one of the worst ways to die.
Terror filled the town from that moment onward, and Noah received his guests, but decided to take them back to the other area within the town seeing as they remained uncomfortable.
