"I am Madison, of the falling ocean guild," Madison stood. She was the eleventh person to introduce herself to the group.

She sat and glanced at an ever-silent Aiden. His strange behavior had somehow made her unable to speak with him.

Noah stood. "I am Aiden, of the great guild divine lightning," he announced quite lightly. He was the only person belonging to a great guild. Meaning amongst those of high status he wouldn't fall short.

"That wasn't so hard, was it," Dere exclaimed clapping his hands lightly.

Noah nodded and sat down. He returned to switching his gaze between the outside world and the carriage. The reflection of silver light that washed over a few ponds in the passing terrain looked magical.

Washing his gaze over the experts within the carriage, Noah took note of their names.

The names of the two members of the royal family were Krane and Gina. They were of the Faust Monderi house. But since they had a long line, they were the fifth generation of the house.

The truth was, Prince Faust himself had only ever seen them once. And that was after their birth. The direct children of prince Faust were nine in number, and each one of them gave birth and the next generation did until it got to the time of Krane and his third sister Gina.

They lived in quarters around the royal castle but had only gone to the main palace a few times in their life.

The others were four men and three women. He barely paid attention to them but kept their names in his head.

Sir Dere tried and succeeded in making them interact, but there was barely any laughter. Only small talk, and opinions.

The hours began to pass and soon Sir Dere left them to their own thing. They would be on that journey for two weeks. Mere hours were not enough to faze them.

Someone eventually brought about a word, it was a bit forced but was appreciated than the silence.

"How how about we talk about our achievements," the brown-haired man had suggested. He truly wanted to know a bit about the royal children. And even the man from the great guild.

His suggestion was well received, but it now depended on who would speak up first.

"Since I brought about the suggestion I believe it's only normal that I start first," the same expert added.

"Uhm..." he muttered falling a bit thoughtful, while the others searched their memories too.

"Yes!" He exclaimed at some point, and all attention went back to him.

"About three years ago. I and a group of four were on a hunting exercise to pass the time. We were going to clear out any packs we saw, and there were many of them," he started his short tale.

"We arrived so deep into the forest that my skin tingled from the mana around me. I encountered my first tier 4 beast that day." A dark mood seemed to fill the room at that point. Not even Noah could maintain a straight face. Encountering a tier 4 beast meant almost death.

"A simple centipede. It was huge. Its exoskeleton was dark-red in color and its many legs were nightly black. Its weird pearly eyes glowed with a deep crimson shade."

"It managed to eat one of my group members, but during our escape, I had called upon my full power to unleash a fiery attack so hot it managed to stop the beast and allow us to travel a significant distance."

"Only one person was lost. I was praised for saving the rest of them. My mana core had suffered severely, however. But I'm okay now." The man whose name was Tion bowed at that point before sitting.

Surely his achievement might have been quite lackluster to Noah, but he had to admit that apart from his game-changing spells, he knew of nothing that could have such an effect on a tier 4 beast.

It was impressive that his flames were hot enough to make it stop. Heck, it sounded impossible all of a sudden.

Silence filled the carriage at that point. Noah started to see those experts in a new light. It would seem they weren't all just talk and no action.

A lady stood up this time around. She bowed and began her story.

"About a decade ago I had been involved in a bandits raid and kidnap. Being a descendant of a noble family I was worth a lot to those criminals."

"Nevertheless. I had been at the peak of the second tier then. And needed the last push to finally reach the third tier."

"It would turn out that event had been a great propellant. Since a week into the kidnap, I advanced and ended up managing to escape on my own."

"The leader of the group had been in the middle stage, but my abilities had somehow been able to allow me escape them. I was injured from having to kill about 30 tier 2's and a lower-stage cultivator in the third tier. But I made it anyway."

The lady immediately sat down at that point. Another wave of silence unfolded. Her tale wasn't as spectacular as Tion's, but they were impressive nonetheless.

The woman's name was Yela. She looked to be in her early thirties and had shot green hair and wore a cold expression almost all the time. She was on par with the two royal children.

Madison happened to be the next person.

"This happened merely a few months ago. It was during the tournament of champions. I and my teammate had been decimating the battlefield. When I encountered this guy," she gestured at Aiden, and he watched all eyes fall on him.

"His skill was scary. I had never been too terrified of engaging in close combat with anyone. He was quick, but I had wits and kept my distance."

"If any one of you were to engage in combat with him. You'd understand how much of a big deal it is to keep him from you, long enough to piss him off," her words were casual, but they all took it seriously.

Noah couldn't be more stunned. The turn of events had taken him by surprise. So much so that a smile cracked on his face. He suddenly felt big.

Noah watched Madison take her seat. He stood up after her, surprising the others, At this point, things were getting interesting.

Searching through his many achievements, Noah sifted through the ones he couldn't say and eventually settled for one of the more recent ones. Heck, he would consider it one of the most outrageous ones.

"Only about a month ago I was at the bottom of the middle stage," he announced with a light tone. But his voice dripped with honesty.

He sat down and watched their eyebrows flicker and crease with confusion. Then it hit them.

Every person that spoke after him felt their stories sound subpar compared to his. Most didn't even believe it. But it was true.
