cause more trouble. "Nope, no issues here. I'm just glad you're not mad anymore, Walter," she said, trying to
sound sweet and compliant.
Walter thought to himself, why should he be mad? He was not the one footing the bill or taking the heat.
However, Minnie was trying so hard to be good that he would be a buzzkill if he did not play along. "I'm not mad.
Just make sure you're not upset, and we're cool," he said, his voice finally softening, though it was clear he was
not thrilled about it. There were still sthings about Minnie that needed looking into, and he could not drop
