Chapter 229 - lsaac's Grandparents.
Isaac and Sebastian entered the mansion.
In the distance, a beautiful wooden stairway was located, while the room in front of the front door was an enormous space which could fit easily thirty people.
On the right side, another room was located, which didn't have a door. Instead, it was open kitchen, that was currently empty.
On the left side, a living room and dining room were in the same space but were much larger than in Isaac's home.
''Master and Mistress are currently visiting their company.'' Sebastian said and pointed at the living room, ''You can wait in the living room.''
Isaac nodded and went to the living room with two bags in his hands.
Sebastian, who was left alone at the front door, glimpsed outside the building, where another car entered through the gates.
He opened the front door and waited in the doorway respectfully.
Madison and Malcolm left the car and kept whispering between each other while walking past the servants.
But then, they noticed Sebastian.
''Sebastian, why are you here?'' Madison stopped a meter away from him and asked, ''Weren't you supposed to get Isaac from the airport?''
''I already did— he is waiting in the living room,'' Sebastian replied and took Malcolm's suitcase.
''What?!'' Madison shouted in shock, ''He was supposed to arrive half an hour later!''

''Oh no…'' Madison took her phone from her pocket and opened a mirror app.
She started fixing her hair.
''Tch.'' Malcolm shook his head, ''Why are you putting so much effort? Let's just enter.''
''Shut up, old man.'' Madison glared at her husband and sneakily grinned, ''Who was the one who ordered the servants to clean the house three times?''
''What?'' Malcolm snorted, ''I like the house being clean.''
Madison rolled her eyes and then asked from Sebastian, ''Well, how is he?''
Malcolm didn't seem interested but had his ears perked up.
''Well…'' Sebastian sneakily looked towards the living room, where a white-haired youth was sitting with proper posture.
''He is… Smart and very polite.'' Sebastian replied, ''Also, nothing like the arrogant youths of other families.''
Madison sighed in relief and smiled, ''I knew that Maxwell is able to raise his children well, isn't that right, Malcolm?''
''Meh.'' Malcolm turned towards Sebastian and said, ''Take my suitcase to my office, then join us in the living room.''
Sebastian nodded and entered the mansion. He walked past the living room and walked up the stairs with light steps.
Malcolm fixed his collar and entered the mansion with his wife, who was still fixing her hair.
From the corner of his eye, he could already see a white-haired youth in the living room. His eyesight was excellent, which allowed him to see Isaac clearly.
The first thing that surprised him was the hair color. It was common knowledge that white hair was very unordinary and rare in some cases.
Next was the face, which looked vastly different from Maxwell's and Malcolm's.
Not many would think that Isaac was Maxwell's son just from those descriptions, but Malcolm and Madison heard that one of Maxwell's children was born with rare hair color.
Madison had a gentle smile on her face as she saw Isaac first time. Instantly, she felt very close with him and knew that he was part of their family!
It was a subconscious feeling.
Isaac heard the footsteps coming from the front door and saw two elderly figures appearing, who still looked very attractive.
He stood up and politely bowed, ''My name is Isaac Whitelock.''
''My name is Madison Whitelock.'' Madison, with light steps, appeared in front of Isaac and trapped him in a hug.
Isaac was surprised after getting hugged suddenly but returned the gentle hug, which was much different from the hugs he had received from his family.
His gaze lingered on the muscular man, who had his arms crossed. He slightly felt nervous about being in his presence because he knows the rocky relationship between the burly man and his father.
Madison ended the hug and looked at her husband with a twitching eyebrow, ''This stubborn old man is Malcolm Whitelock, your grandfather.''
''Ah, nice to meet you.'' Isaac put his hand forwards for a handshake.
Malcolm looked at the frail-looking hand for several seconds before grabbing it and squeezing it tight while shaking his hand.
Once the handshake ended, Isaac looked at his own hand, which had a red mark, and thought Malcolm had tested him.
But, Malcolm internally panicked after seeing the red mark, but outside, he looked stoic and unfazed.

''Indeed, I was quite skilled, and I still have my previous skill with me.'' Sebastian appeared in the living room and said politely.
''Why did you change your profession?'' Isaac asked curiously.
Sebastian smiled and said, ''Layer of Feasting is a battlefield, and I simply got burnt out. Being a butler has been much more enjoyable and relaxing.''
''Sebastian is great butler but it might get sometimes boring.'' Madison looked at the empty mansion and sighed, ''It's very empty here…''
''Are you hungry? He can make anything you want.'' She asked while sitting on the sofa with Isaac next to her.
''Well, sure.'' Isaac nodded.
He didn't eat anything during the flight.
Sebastian nodded and went to the kitchen, leaving members of the Whitelock family alone.
While waiting for food, they started getting know each other better, but then Isaac noticed a painting on the wall.
It was a painting of Malcolm with his group of friends with a dead bear behind them.
Malcolm puffed his chest in pride after seeing Isaac curious about the painting, ''Curious about the painting?'' He asked.
Isaac nodded.
''In one of our hunting trips, we came face-to-face with a terrifying three-meter bear whose claws alone could slice the trees in half.'' Malcolm started telling the tale.
Madison sighed and rolled his eyes. She had heard the same story countless times and thought that Isaac wasn't that interested.
But, Isaac was very interested and listened closely.
