Chapter 115 Dagmar Finished Realizing where the Camellia's cfrom. I was pulled back in tand the memories were too much to handle. I felt myself being lifted and I believe I could hear Uncle James say something, but I could not hear what he was saying.

Suddenly I realize that Maddox is running up the stairs and he is holdingtight. Next thing I know is being on his bed and Cole whispering in my ear, just like he did all those years ago.

And after a while I feel myself relax a little, holding on to Cole and listening to his words.

I did not know the specifics, but his Father had been a tyrant and his death had unfortunately been at the expense of his Mother. Even though she had made the decision herself to end her life and that of her Mate in the process.

I knew Maddox and his siblings grew up in a very unloying and harsh home. But somehow, they had all grown up in to loving men and women, who would do anything to protect their families and their pack- members.

And there was no doubt in my mind that Maddox would be an amazing Father one day. When that thought crossed my mind, I realize that somewhere down the line I want that, and I want it with Maddox.

Then Emma tellsshe told Cole about the conversation and that he in turn told Maddox. Having calmed down I sense that Maddox has gained control again and is still holding on to me.

On his face I see a worried look and I start to wonder if he is second guessing his decision. What if he feels. that he can never raise a child? What if he fears that he can never makehappy? My head starts racing with wild thoughts and suddenly feel his hand turning my face up to meet his. His eyes fly over my face as if he is looking for something.

I ask him what he is doing and he just sighs. "I always feared that I would turn out to be like my Father but having you around all these years has proven tothat I am nothing like my Father." And with that we both relax, because we know this is a step in the right direction for him.
